What's the most expensive noob mistake you have ever made?
Try these.....went for a pee-obviously afk-came back to a pod
got drunk when mining in 0.0-got blown up by a Triumvirate nano gang....billion isk hulk tank gone.
Wrecks raided by a caracal in high sec. fired on it....in a Kronos (don't know why) got concorded...another billion ISK gone
When I think back the list is embarrassingly long....that's 3 Billion ISK gone already with just 3 memories.
Share your stories because I don't reckon anybody is more stupid tham me when it comes to loosing ISK.

Trying out the "Forums" button on the left panel of the eve-online.com website, then venturing into the CAOD section was my worst newbie mistake by far

Hauling half a bill in goods to Amarr only to get blown up by CONCORD because I was drunk and -2.6 and Amarr is 1.0.

I sold my BPCs via. Escrow as normal. Then I noticed I couldn't find my BPO anywhere. I had successfully sold my ME:50 Apoc BPO for 1m isk. The real pain was I couldn't even ransom it back as the person buying it has used a recycle alt to buy it so I couldn't trace it =( This was before well researched Battleship BPOs were commonplace as well so research was worth a bit in those days =/
Learned to check my Escrow more carefully after that ;)

I made that fault on contracts too, but that was a hyperion bpo.

Caught too much aggro in a mission with my Phantasm and them humped an asteroid when I tried to warp out. *POP* goes the Phantasm (and some faction stuff).

Accidentally hit 'enter' instead of 'backspace' when modifying a buy order, as you can guess I was trying to delete and extra 9, so ended up paying 10X the price of the goods which was around the 125m mark : S

I was warping around alone in a blaster ranis in lowsec looking for targets, located two ships at a moon, warped there and saw a pos 100km away, I stayed there for quite a while until one of the sentry guns suddenly locked and oneshotted me, I wasn't even moving..
Another one is when I was hauling two taranis and a enyo afk, because I friend said "meh it's only like 30mil? who'd want to suicide gank you for that?" later I come back and realize I'm in a pod :P
Luckily everything blew up, otherwise it would have been even more embarassing.

Hired Neth'Rae to make me a kick ass signature, which he did, then totally forgot to pay him for it until this very moment!

Deleted a character w/o checking to make sure ALL it's assets were cleared up. Loaded my other character and went looking for my Vagabonds.... then realized I had just deleted 4 vagas. And no, I didn't petition the mistake, it was my own damn fault for not checking so I ate the loss and have never done it since.

Went to lo-sec in Harbinger, picked a fight and got log-in ambushed w/ 75M isk in implants.
Still in a state of shock after I replaced the implants, went to pick up some cargo containers in a bestower and without realizing it they were in a 0.4 system. Got podded again w/75M in implants.
All on Christmas Day......

forgot i was in my frigate when i engaged a caracal outside a station in low sec, needless to say the sentries took care of my frig very fast
i think thats my most embarrasing loss :P

I went for a tease run against some station campers with my Domi when war decced about 2 years ago, but forgot to replace my cargo expanders with warpcore stabs, before undocking and flying to the first bookmark. *outch*
(to explain what those cargo expanders were doing there in the first place. Back then everyone mined in the Domi in low sec, before the new ORE ships were introduced)
