High sec pvp is like pvp with a condom. No sentries no fear of capital blobs and 9 times out of 10 your shooting up nubs that dont have the experience to fight back.
When 'anti pirates' do come to low sec its the biggest cowardice of all, running into high sec when going gets too tough

PvP is not about facing up to your fear. PvP is also not about winning every fight you engage in. A good pvp'er is usually hard to kill because he manages to AVOID the fights he's gonna loose. It's called 'picking your fights'.
Charging into a battle under sentry-fire with the risk of being blobbed by capitals doesn't make you a good (or bad, for that matter) PvP'er, it makes you Leroy Jenkins at best.
The fact you are frustrated with PvP'ers that go, as you call it, 'running into high-sec' shows you've not really got the point of PvP. You should enjoy your success instead of complaining: you've chased them off and had them retreat. If that doesn't count as a 'victory', I dunno what does...
Sure, a kill would have been nicer. But if you're truly a PvP'er, your next kill will be right around the corner....

Please define "real" pvp. If gatecampers have no pvp skills and merely gank shuttles all day long then why did you drop a carrier on our gatecamp earlier? I mean, we're already flashy red with sentry fire on us. Not to mention we couldn't jump through that particular gate as it was high sec.
You already have the advantage from the get go. Surely with your elite pvp skills you could have annihilated us all quickly. But, instead of duking it out and having a nice session of pvp, you hotdrop. Who's being a hypocrite? A united guy has a cry that someone brought caps to a fight and made it one sided and unfair, which is exactly how I imagine all those shuttle and hauler pilots feel when they get ganked by 8 billion united battleships on a gate.
If anyone is a hypocrite here it's the guy in the massive gatecamp corp that complains when someone brings an unfair fight to them. Unless there's some special rule that it's cool when you guys do it but no one else can. I must have missed the memo.

You may want to read rev's post again.
I did. But I will summarise.
- Kirex makes a crack about the United not being real pvpers because they gank ships at gates.
- in his repy Rev dedicates a paragraph to VHI hotdropping instead of engaging in a fair fight.
- I pointed out the irony of him making that claim
- Vaden says that he sees no crying about hotdrops and was instead crying about hypocrisy, despite the fact that in the second paragraph he clearly mentions VHI hotdropping instead of having a fair fight.
- I mention that it is hypocritical to complain about people hotdropping and unfair fights when you spend all your time specialising in unfair fights by ganking things on gates.
You seem tobe ignoring the fact that I was talking about a specifi part of Rev's post that mentioned hotdropping and unfair fights. My reading comprehension is fine.

Justify it to yourself however you want. You had a cry about being hotdropped instead of them fighting you fair. You cried in local too when it happened. Just because you turn around and say "I'm not complaining" doesn't change that fact.

I'm also quite confident that...well every 0.0 alliance would accept my application if I made one so please, take your ignorance somewhere else.
0.0 is fine, and there are some truly great outfits and people there...but that is true for all of eve, there are great people and outfits everywhere specializing in different things.

I don't know where you got your info from but the first alliance that accepts you and allows you into 0.0 space will automatically boost you to pro-level-skilled-elite-holy-warrior-of-death kublai.
