Ok they took in over 3.8 Billion and the "Combined" pot for the next draw is only going to be 1.750 Billion? doing the math it appears that they are keeping more than they are paying out.
I don't know the real circumstances of their comming into possesion of their imperial apoc but based on the ammount of cash they made and the ammount going out in the next draw, plus what they stand to make in the rush of people now able to buy 5 Million in tickets...sorry fellas it just sounds like profiteering to me.
Please correct me if i am mistaken.

BIG doesn't take a single ISK from the Lottery mate.
Rest of the cash will be used in next rounds.

I think the idea is that they only give a portion of the pot away each time so the next few draws will all be really large. If you bought tickets this time they will be valid for next time as well. IMHO it is a good idea, the next few draws for a billion isk a throw - nice

They are gonna make 2 drawings wth 3 prizes...totalling 3.5B ISK.
What they are gonna do with the extra ISK...maybe they'll move em on to Drawing #30

You cant use the pot that you currently have in next drawings because it was stated that all the isk would go over to the drawing after this one... What are you guys gonna do give everyone who bought a ticket up to now tickets into all lotteries that are being held with the isk prices? Its just a total nightmare to even think about that, and if thats not the case then this just even sucks ALOT MORE. BIG WOULD NOT HAVE ANY ISK ADVANTAGE FROM THIS EVENT, with this they WILL because of the simple reason that in that case they will be able of upping future lotteries with money that was PUT IN with the fait that the people who bought tickets would be egible for the total price pot...
Really but the only way i can describe this is:

Well if thats the case then i was mistaken, but thats not what i thought i saw in their chat room. thats why it seemed a little funny. as someone stated i didn't think they kept any cash from their lottery but like 10%.

On our lottery page it does say we _reserve the right_ to take a 10% administration fee. We have yet to actually exercise that right in the BIG Lottery, therefore, we keep 0 isk.

Reading the post from BIG about the drawings to come BEFORE posting might have been a good idea, but since I was at the draw #27 I just wrote what I've read. 
BIG is gonna makes as many draws as possible with the 1.75M ISK winnings.
They hope that they will be able to keep winnings at this high prizes for a long time to come. ( ie people DO need to bye tickets, They are NOT gonna garuantee these HIGH prizes from their own wallet. )
I seriously douth that they are gonna start collecting their 10% for the time being.

yup, you may call it "lottery"-money. But the 2B isk you took are actually promotion money for your event and if everything works out as BIG games hopes it will this "lottery"-money will keep getting bigger and bigger.
So when would it ever be payed out to the rightful ticket holders, with which you broke a written agreement?
