For whatever reason, I've always referred to races as "flavors". It might be because I've read "flavor of the month" too many times.
Anyway, I decided that each race had a flavor.
Amarr was cherry. This seemed easy.
Minmatar seems like a cinnamon. Maybe rhubarb.
Gallente was meat. Maybe steak or pork chops.
Caldari.. I'm having trouble with. Tofu? 
So, tell me, if you had to pick a flavor for each race, what would it be?

Caldari - Pot Noodle. Doesn't matter which flavour coz they ALL taste the same and have absolutely nothing good in them for you.
Gallente - Kinda like a big ass mixed grill, loads of flavour and style with a gazillion chips on the side falling off your plate no matter what you tell them to do.
Minmatar - Chocolate, every variety. Fills you up and leaves ya fat in mere minutes, fastest snack food you can buy and leaves ya with more fillings than a whole roll of ducktape can fill. Ultimate sugar rush but ultimatley leaves ya hungry for real food.
Amarr - Ever been to a really posh eating establishment? Ya know the type, 6 courses of wonderful looking food that makes your brain do wizzbangs with the taste but once ya leave you go to the burger house for something filling.
Ok, so not actual flavours but its what sprang to mind when I saw the question.

Snails and Quafe. Maybe some other stuff for desert that nobody can pronounce.

Minmatar = Sloppy Joes -tasty and filling, but always look like they're about to fall apart.
Gallente = Hamburgers -easy and common, everyone eats them, but no twists or hidden flavour.
Ammar = Pot-roast -A good heavy meal, you know you've eaten.
Caldari = Wild Game -It can be a delicious meal, full of hidden tastes, unfortunately too many amateurs attempt to make it and end up ruining the recipe.

Amarr - Oatmeal. Nutritious and filling but always lulz at when mentioned to the other races.
Minmatar - Hotdogs. Fast to fix and tasty but made of things you would probably not deign to mention in the company of others.
Caldari - Hungry Man frozen dinner. Generic food(?) that appeals to the masses and is cheap as shit to boot.
Gallente. Energy drink. If your looking for maximum pew pew for your sp then look no further.

The Amarr are bitter: Cocoa Powder, Coffee, Hops heavy beers, and the like.
The Gallente are Sweet: Candies, Sweet Fruits, Honey.
The Minmatar are sour: Lemons, G****fruit, and Tamarind come to mind.
As for the Caldari, I always figured the Caldari taste like Soylent Green would taste.

Each one of these fish has a very distinct flavor. It's easier to describe the fish than the flavor, but if you ever come to Hawaii, try each of them. you'll see what I mean.

I've always thought of Caldari as being like Rice & Tofu. Filling, but bland.
Flying Minmatar ships is like dining on the world's tastiest, hottest vindaloo. Real fun while the going's good. But damn, if you don't know what you're doing you'll cause yourself some pain. Even if you do know what you're doing, that stuff is hot on the way in, hot on the way out, if you know what I mean.
