When i fly around in Eve im generally happy but there are two blemishes on this oh so bright sun imo these are:
1. Being in low sec isnt lucrative enough.
- Fix: Make rat bounties larger in low sec to increase numbers of ratters as well as giving a decent reward/risk ratio since now its just a risk. I dont know anything about mining but i have a hunch that the higher prices in Trit has made it more lucrative to mine in high-sec than in low sec, this i dont have a fix for, but get ppl to mine low sec too so that mining corp actually has a reason to hire merc corps for protection (and so that Chribba can have the veldspar in high-sec for himself).
2. The current bounty mechanics doesnt work and hasnt worked for years.
- Fix: Replace with kill contracts you can give out like normal contracts its just that they activate the transfer of the reward upon that person killing who the contract was for.
-Discussion: Im not certain if this contract should come with the kill rights as well and if destroying the persons ship is enough or if it has to be pod as well.

On a serious note, the much smaller population in low sec is worth going there alone. The EVE galaxy is how big and I want to cram myself in the regions where we all started...why?
Well yes i love shooting the white boxes instead of the red crosses too but they have become all so rare now thx to ppl staying clear of low sec since there really isnt any reason to go there.

Well with a specific kill contract you could give the contract to a specific corp as well maybe a corp specializing (sp?) in taking out outlaws right now if they do that you have no way to know if they really took you out. (Forged kill mails etc.) And the contracts whould be more of a hassle for beginner pirates who still want to travel around in high sec.
I.e. it whould work more like a bounty should work now its equal to actually giving money to the pirate or atleast status.
