Hey there! I have installed TEA 1.3.0 r169 on our SMF2.0.1 forum. The instalation went well, new registrations are working as they should and API details are being accepted.
Two quick questions. In the settings section, there is an entry for both Custom Name and Custom Title. Custom Title is pretty self explanitory, appearing in users profiles and under their details when they post. What about Custom Name? I cannot see any reference to that on SMF profile pages or admin pages.
Second of all, in the rules section under the Groups to Monitor and Remove, whats the difference between selecting a particular usergroup as Main and Additional?
Thanks in advance for any help with this. |

Issue 2: I can't see any Jabber options at all in the admin menu, although users can see a tab (with no options) on their profile.
TEA Version: 1.3.0 r168 SMF version: 2.0.1
Anyone able to help?
Reinstalling the mod fixed both issues.
New issue: when I set up a new rule and click create, I get a blank page. Happens in firefox and internet exploder. When I refresh the page, the new rule has not been created. Anyone able to help? We've just had new corps join our alliance, so I'm having to manually sort out usergroups when each person registers. |

Running SMF 2.0.1 with Temars EVE API 1.3.0 r169
When trying to register users cannot "Get Characters". Can't click "Get Characters" to populate the selection tab and it will not do it automatically. The "Get Characters" button appears inert.
Anyone have any suggestions? |

Hi. I have problem finding settings page. Nothing under "Features and options" and mod instalattion went well. It shows in packages as installed and active. I'm using SMF 2.0.1 and Temar 1.3.0.r169
I also tried to uninstall and get some errors but it still uninstalls, and Package manager show that it's uninstalled.
I'll try deleting package, but should I try to delete something else too? some database tables?
Any idea? I would rather not switching to PHPBB. |

Running fine on SMF 2.0.1 using R169. Only thing is that I cannot seem to get the cron to run (shared hosting sucks, I know).
Some suggestions: - Maybe it's possible to open wiki-pages for writing hints, manuals etc by forum admins, so that experiences can be shared and this mod is documented in an easier way. (General set-up, TS3 setup, Jabber set-up, etc) - The google-page still links to the "old eve forums" thread; maybe handy to re-link it to this topic
Other then above, the tool works fine, and our corp are very happy users of it. |

Hi, I have installed this onto my new smf 2 forum now and it is wonderful - thanks for a great job! however, I would like to use more of its functionality but I do note a lack of instructions so this is obviously for experienced people to play with. I also see that there seems to be no replies on here to help less experienced people get started up. Therefore, If anyone is able to maybe write up a simple user guide, I'm sure there would be lots of Isk donations as a thank you - I certainly would be one of them.
Thanks again for a wonderful program. |

So for the last few weeks we have been testing this, and the latest dev version of the mod works fine on both 2.0 and 2.0.1 installs (tested as a full install - upgrade not tested - yet).
Except the "Get Characters" button would not work for us on registration, clicking it in IE, FF or Chrome produced nothing, as if the JS wasn't getting called at all.
After a marathon session recently going over the code line by line and testing for possible solutions, we finally found what the issue was and are able to fix an install in 1 simple step now.
The solution is as follows:
1. Install Temars mod as normal. 2. After install, go the root folder or your webserver. 3. Navigate to the "TEA" folder. 4. Change file permission on "TEA_xmlhttp.php". 5. By default permission are 666, change to 644.
Everything now works fine, get characters works and the mod works perfectly on vanilla SMF 2.0 and 2.0.1 installs with no other errors of any type. Its only that incorrectly applied file permission that is stopping the get characters script from activating correctly on registration.
I believe this fix may help a number of users of the mod, any questions feel free to contact me in game.

I hope someone can help me out. I have setup a Openfire server and got it setup correctly (i hope). the issues im have is testing the add user function on the forum mod to the server. TEA has pulled the groups from the database but it doesnt seem to be adding users that register. i think its something todo with this secret passcode but i dont remember setting up a password to register on openfire.
any ideas?

When i try and run a full members check it errors out
Quote:You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 File: /var/www/infusion/forum/Sources/TEA.php Line: 2234
That line is...
Quote:$users1 = $this -> smcFunc['db_query']('', "SELECT id_member, member_name, ID_GROUP FROM {db_prefix}mem bers WHERE id_member <= ".$this -> lastid)
I hadn't tried to do this for a while, but had to rebuild soon. But after the rebuild i have uninstalled and re-installed TEA to the latest version and this is the problem now. So i suspect its something to do with that. any help is appreciated. |
