Make Titans the price of a Carrier. This will make Titans more available to lots more people. With more people having a Titan, blobs will not form as they know they will just all die to a DD. No blobs = no Lag out black screen of death.

nah, just allow battleships to fit a mini-dd so a single BS can jump into a gate camp, fire off its DD and whack everyone at the gate camp (popping frigs instantly, no 15 second safety nets) then have his mates jump in to mop up the rest. -- A guy walks into the psychiatrist wearing only clingfilm for shorts. Make a splash damage module that deals more damage the more non-allied targets there are within it's effect range. Also make the range huge. ---

Obviously what we need is a Black Hole Launcher.
Named version will be the X-7 Microsingularity Projector.
Its gravity would cause time dilation, which would make time appear to move very slowly, trapping fleets in a drawn out inevitable death.
Actually, nvm. -

Now, all we need is BOB amassing enough titans to instapop any sub-titan capital EHP tank, and we're set to go
P.S. Don't they have enough already, by the way ?

It's only a partial solution but how about popping any ship that isn't aligned during fleet warp... something about dodgy telemetry sending them into the system's star or something?

Yes it will. Would you want to take 200 BS's to fight 100 Titans? No. Go away, you fail. |

Okay.
1. Titans can only be produced in 0.0 space with a sovereignty level of 3, which requires at least 3 weeks of claiming sovereignty to obtain. 2. Titans cannot dock at stations or outposts of any kind 3. Titans jump bridges provide powerful logistical advantages and are unaffected by cyno jammers 4. Titans have enough HP that destroying them without capital ships requires 100+ battleships
1+2 means that Titans will be produced by spaceholding entities in 0.0, and only by them. Most will be used internally and not sold because there's no secure way of selling them in any volume 3+4 means that in order to take down a titan, opponents will need 100 or more battleships as titans will be produced and operated out of cynojammed systems
So you have ships that are produced only by people who hold space in 0.0, most of which will remain in use by those alliances. They will operate using jump bridges out of cynojammed systems to move capital and conventional assets everywhere at a moment's notice and require hundreds of ships to destroy because anyone wanting to destroy them will be unable to bring capital ships into the system. Add to that the fact that almost no conventional fleet can survive more than 2 DD detonations, so 3 titans in a system means that any attack on any cynojammed system will instantly fail. Most are willing to spend 10 billion ISK on an impenetrable defense for a system.
Do you now see why this is a terrible idea? ---------------- Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.83 (Updated 7/3) |

Ok, the changes to Titans would have to address where they can be made. Once they are accessible by the masses, the I bring 100 ships and you bring 100 ships and we all launch our 5 drones so there are 1k drones on top of the 200 ships on one grid days will be over. Titans will eliminate the need for so many ships in one place at one time. Get it? |
