Dotlan is awesome mate, thank you very much.
Just wondering if I just hadn't paid enough attention or it has changed but it appears that now there is more system history.
For example 9-4 in Cloud Ring I am sure that the history only went back as far as Unnatural Selection from the middle of 2008 but now the history goes back as far as YouWhat in March 2007. And G-Q5JU in Period Basis shows Daisho and Evoke as having held the system but before it just showed Executive Outcomes.
If there is more history, is this because of of the Dominion changes to the API? So you are getting more Data from CCP?
Another thing, (I'm not sure if it does it and I haven't found the button) but looking at a region map you can use the arrow button to go back a day at a time to see the sovereignty changes, can you type in date or drop a calendar down to go back weeks/months/years?
Also the combined maps, have you thought about doing a map of Esoteria and Paragon Soul? |

I think adding it to the to do list would be fantastic but I'm probably the only one who would use it cos I love seeing the history of a region, so there probably isn't much point.
As for the history, its cool that you are getting more data from people, its nice to see who has held what and the changes that happen (I'm a bit of Eve history buff) but there cant be many people who have kept that data for that long.
I wonder if CCP keep data like that?! And if they did whether they would share it?!

I'm not sure if you can do this already (but I haven't found it when looking so it might not be there) but I was wondering if you could do something to show which systems each individual corp holds on the region map? Maybe under the drop down menu named 'Map Info Layer'. I know you can do it if you go to overview of the alliance and look at the system's the alliance holds and then sort by corp to get this information but having it on the map would be useful.
As I've said before; great site, use it a lot, a big thanks!!

Hadn't even thought about adding more detailed info on the corporations page but that is a great new feature.
Corporations to the Map Info Layer addition is really interesting, as now you can easily see which corps are taking the brunt of the sov holding. Also its interesting to see how systems are distributed among corps.
Thanks a lot!!

I remember being linked once something that gave stats on individual corps. Like size etc, but I can't seem to find it on your site. Was I imagining it or did it really happen?

search up the corp on the site.
Sorry I didn't phase my question right, I meant it gave a ranking of the corps. Sort of like the Alliance tab but for corps.

Yeah i know what you mean.
There's a "hidden" page which shows corporations sorted by membership count. I don't know anymore if it was included in the navigation at any point. But as I don't have all infos from every single corp it's only a small snapshot of corporation who are or have been in an alliance at some point.
http://evemaps.dotlan.net/corp/top
That's exactly the page, cheers!

Would it be possible to have a combined map of Immensea, Detroid, Wicked Creek and Tenerifis? Or something that contains Immensea...
Love your maps by the way.
As I am statistics monkey, would there be a away to see who was the biggest corp/alliance of all time? Held the most stations at one time? Most systems controlled at once? (Without manually searching every date).

Combined maps are mostly ordered work cause it's difficult and costs time. 2-3 regions are easy todo, 4 is something which results in a huge unreadable map, if the map should still fit on a DIN A4 paper/screen. Maybe immensea + the most important surronded constellations would make sense.
Yeah, I just felt we were left out , but the way Immensea connects to the other regions doesn't make it an easy region to make a combined map of or a priority either, as there is only probably a few of use who would use it anyway. The rest of the combined maps are awesome!

Most member corps (alliance): Zzz (2008-04-05) 662 members / 230 corporations
Most systems held: Band of Brothers (2007-06-26) 230 systems
Most stations held: IT Alliance (2010-07-30) 60 stations
Thank you...you made me a happy bunny.
