Hi...
I'm fairly new to EVE, and I was told by some guys tonight that, even though we have three PC slots per account, we can only have a SINGLE PC that's "Active". I have no reason to doubt these guys, but I'd just like some further confirmation on this.
Is this accurate?
Is it not possible for me to have 3 different PC's and play each of them as I see fit?

Edited by: StaticW on 26/05/2004 07:32:13 You can have 3 Computers and play on each, sure, but not at the same time. For every character you you want to play simultaneously you need an account of his/her/its own.
As soon as you log into eve with the second Computer and use the same account as on the first Computer, the first Player gets bootet from his session.
edited for spelling

Right, I understand that... but if I log out on my computer... and then later log on and select one of the OTHER PC's that I have, that's fine, correct?

You can run your character on any PC you like.
If you have 10 PC's you can run the character on anyone of them (as long as eve is installed!).
If a mate comes round he could logon to any PC and play with his account too.
You can also play 2 accounts on 1 PC at the same time (remove Sun is occluded by ships option first).
The only restriction as stated above is you cant run one account on more than one PC at a time.

"PC's" in this case, I think he means Player Characters

Ok... this is what confused me at first.
According to that, if I have 3 Player Characters in my account, I can only be training skills for ONE of them, correct? But I can still play the other two normally?
What would happen if I was training skills for PC #1, and then started training skills for PC #2? Would EVE give me an error or some such?

Yes, you will get a pop-up telling you you need to stop training on the other character before you can train the current one.
