So im a miner guy, with 3 million SP in drones and 500 in gunnery and 0 in missiles. I want to be able to kill the rats in 0.0 since i have recently moved there and i think the dominix will be best for me. Im not going to train my gunnery / missile skills either! I figure i can just fly a dominx with the setup below and i should be fine. Please let me know what you think, and any problems i may encounter.
Highs
1 X Medium remote armour repper thing. 1 X Medium remote structure repper thing. 1 X Large Neut 2 X Large Smartbombs
Mediums
5 X Cap Charger II
Lows
2 X LAR 4 X Hardners 1 X Dmg control
I dont know if the domi has enough power grid and stuff for that, but does it look ok?

I wouldnt use that setup for 0.0 ratting. And for pvp logistics you would go with plating and trimarks. Fleeet warfare with logistics requires buffer hp. For ratting you should go heavy/sentry drones with drone mods. You should be able to tank 0.0 rats with 1 repper and some resistance and a plating (rigs use trimarks or nano pumps) Use afterburner with drone links in mid so ur drones can get there and deal as much dps as fast as possible.
Remember to carry some lights and a web in case you get jammed. Or....fly an ishtar.

How would i repair my ship? And why 2 LRAR?? Why not 1 and then a structure one.

The only solid reason I can see to mount a structure rep module on a ship build like this is to repair drones and let's face it, if you're in a gang fight you've probably got better things to repair than drones.
Even with a DCU2 most ships will have over-all armor/shield resistances greater than 60% across the board so it makes more sense, and is, I believe, more cap-efficient to repair armor than hull.
Also, remote armor reps are darn cheap in terms of grid cost but darn expensive in terms of cap use, especially compared to the self-repair modules.
Also, if you're in a "spider tank" scenario, your gang-mates will rep. you while you rep. them so that'd solve the "how do I get repaired" issue, at least while you're in a gang/fleet. ____________________

Why do you need remote reps at all for ratting in 0.0?

Don't say you want to tank with your drones. Poor drones.

Edited by: AnKahn on 24/07/2008 16:19:01 Couple of quick points.
Nuet Domi is the ****zle. So 2 Large remote armor reps and Nuets.
Drones too far away = dead or left behind drones, so for PvP no drone link augmentors UNLESS you want to harass nanos with some warriors IIs at 130 KM. If so then don't forget your sensor booster.
Edit. What the hell is a S*H*I*Z??
And really, Nuets put the brakes on nanos, poor things have to crawl at 500 m/s while you sic your Hammerhead IIs on them. Faction set up? Meet the heavy nuet.
Always have a personal rep to give you time to slap your gangmates into repping action (and they have time to close range if they have wandered off for some reason). Also, sometimes you are the last one out so you might need the little more time afforded by the personal repper. Also you sort of don't have to change your set up to rat.
Just a few minor observations.
