GBC are winning the territory/pos war and the capital K:D ratio e-peen war. They are loosing the non-capital K:D Ratio e-peen war.

Iron has no choice but to fight to the death since going back to drone regions is no longer a option due to solar fleet etc etc, so NC combined forces tend to focus on what they do best, which is cap/supercap + fleet vs non-cap fleets to defend their space.

killing 3 of the 5 poses in p-2 was well done by the gbc, no one can argue with that, as it would've given you a further staging point to attack the rest of pure blind/fade from if desired. taking ec- does what exactly?

I'm no tactical genius, but I'd assume its removing the ease of logistics and transporting of resources. Being one jump from empire, I'd say its pretty valuable.

EC- is a big logistical launching point for the northwest. So, they are correct, it is pretty friggin important. TRI spent a long time leaving EC- to evoke, but when it came down to it, its just too helpful to let someone else control it. IF, and thats a big IF, they can hold it, could be the boost they need to start knocking shit apart up there.
