One thing I do think would be interesting would be to have them poll the populace, on the log on screen so its account based. I'm sure both sides are guilty of it, but I found it verry ammusing in the "Issue: Anti-nerf" thread when you see a main, followed by 2 alts that look just like the main posting "against the nerf".
Its even better when you see 3 characters in a row with the same name, just different spellings =P

I've specifically argued that point in those forums. And posted my beautiful alt faces openly supporting both subjects. The whole concept of even holding a vote (a vote in a video game? this ain't a democracy) before the changes went into testing was just rediculous to me, evidence of a kneejerk reaction. But it was fun.

This. The newbie whiners are just going to get their asses handed to them in a different manner. Then they'll begin whining about that.
It's also a shame the whiners win again! A handful of people get their way because they wreck the forums with many many repeated posts while the normal people don't want to see the forums ruined by adding more crap against it. So they just ignore the crap.
Yes, the newbie whiners will still die as per usual.
And because you're so awesome and uber (cause you nano and everyone who nanos is l337), this change shouldn't affect you right? You'll still kill em won't ya? You'll change your tactics, you'll adapt, or...
...Or you'll whine like a baby on the forums about it. Maybe threaten to cancel your subs over it. Claim it'l make EVE more blobtastic (despite the massive nerf to the Webber) I don't care either way. But CCP have thought long and hard about this change and if you stepped out that Vagabond for 1 minute and looked at the state of PvP in EVE maybe you'd see it.

Well the better player is still going to win, and now more ships than those 6 standard HAC are really viable for PvP. Great thing ain't it?
