I am interested in training for solo low sec PVP but need some advice on where I should skill. the Deimos and the Phobos both look good to me but need some help with what would work best fitting wise.

Phobos is more of a fleet ship tbh. Deimos is a very good solo though, but in gangs you will often get called primary as they are known for having omgwtfbbq dmg but without the tank to support it.

i asked the same thing some time ago and they told me to get the phobos. as it can get a great thank and the inf point scram perfect for catching stuff at the gate. the demios has tons of damge but no tank to speak of so gate camping aint your job.

Phobos. The Deimos dies as soon as someone even thinks about shooting it.

Solo Phobos setup for low sec pirating:
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Damage Control II
2x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Medium Armor Repairer II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II
Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
2x Sensor Booster II (scan resolution script)
5x Heavy Neutron Blaster II
Warp Disruption Field Generator I (with the script ofc)
Now you have couple options, for this setup not to cap out you need 2 CCC Is or 2x SCM Is, if ur rich you can get a CCC II and have the other rig slot for something else. This is a so-so setup deals 500 DPS with void, enough to kill something before the gateguns melt u down. Also useful for 0.0 raiding, kill before local knows what happened.
Deimos setup:
2x Small Armor Repairer II
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Damage Control II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
10MN MicroWarpdrive II
Warp Disruptor II
Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
5x Heavy Neutron Blaster II
Small Diminishing Power System Drain I
Deals 522 DPS with void. Fit 2 CCC Is to run everything for a long time, use ECM drones if you expect to face numbers, or med drones of your choice for extra dmg. Another option is to fit 5x EV-600 drones if u face a vagabond or something with a dura-tank.
