Ok, set up a new corp and have several m8s ready and waiting to join however as i am launchin a research and invenion pos in hi sec they are waitng til standings are up as theirs are terrible.
The problem is that obviously we want the corp to expand and have plenty of slots available with more than 1 pos in different areas, this would be a peoblem to launch after they have joined as standings would struggle, so the question.
What are the dangers mainly to an offline tower with nothing around it? what im talking of doing is launching several towers in the areas that we want, then when they are needed online them and launch the defences and labs.
Is this possible? do standings affect labs etc as thought it was just the towers? whats the threats, can someone come along and take the offline towwrs? understand they could be destroyed but cant see that happening as nothing to gain.

I think there still protected by concord, so you would get a 24 hour wardec warning...

sosomeone couldnt just come along, unanchor it and take it? thats what im worried about more than anything.

As long as you actually click "Anchor" on the tower then the only thing you have to worry about is a wardec.

wonderful, thats great news, yes a wardec would be annoying but an offline tower with nothing else with it aint gonna attract much attention, who really is gonna spend the length of time it takes to take out a tower for nothing.

A mobile lab is unsafe everywhere. Because it has low hp it is an easy target even in highsec. It get suicide ganked easily and concord won't be able to do anything.
Even if there's nothing to gain for them it's almost a 100mil loss to cover.
