Hello, I may have posted in the wrong forum about this, however, I'm not quite sure where to place it.
I'm a budding industrialist trying to find a market for well, anything. I had heard on a local channel or two that regions with factional warfare tend to be a good place to start selling the lower tier items that I can easily manufacture.
Unless I was misinformed, the Bleak Lands is the Amarr's region of factional warfare. However, I was quite confused to see that there's little to no economic activity going on here. So I was curious if anyone could enlighten me as to where a trade hub in the region might be and if it's even active enough to try and sell equipment and ships on? Thank you very much in advance. ;)

I had the same thought: Burning ships, cheap modules moving off the shelves, ammo being fired off at amazing rates, no industrial division of the militias to provide all this.
But nothing moves. I'm pulling my sales from the region. The place is a shithole.
Penig/Amarr are only 5-6 jumps away so the Amarr fighters have close trade hubs with lots of stuff at competitive prices. Rens is 5 jumps for the Minnies.
Find someplace better.
[or I could be making a bundle there and not want any competition - hehe]

Thank you both.
I've seen posts saying that the Amarr did have their butts handed to them, but it still seems as if there's warfare going on. *Shrugs* I am based in Penirgman at the moment, and the market is obviously flooded so being new to the experience I'm a bit over whelmed as to what to sell. Is there any news of Amarr faction warring at all? My corporation of close friends had thought about joining, but if it isn't happening it's not really worth the risk to our assets.
I find it odd that CCP hasn't created a forum for it.

The Bleak Lands are currently undergoing the longest ever recorded multi-system solar eclips. The blobs literally blot out the suns. So be careful when travelling in that region, you are risk of bumping into all kinds of nasty things in the dark.
Also, pirates seem to be moving into the areas that the Matari occupy. The Matari of course denies any ties to them even though they are rarely prevented in plying their trade.
As for where to peddle your merchandise. Try the systems bordering the region, should be several around. Just be advised that most corporation will provide reasonably priced modules to their pilots so you will probably not be able to make a whole lot of profit.

As said Amarr is close and Rens is even closer. I managed to sell some T2 leftover stuff on the Heimatar side of front using somewhat established matari lowsec hub. Still, if I really need something my Amarr guy just takes a frig to Rens, waving at gatecamps and navies. Or should I say when I needed something, as I just resigned. FW is a flop. Quite disgusting figting virtually next to untouchable enemy supply depot, permablobbed, outnumbered, shooting lasers at EM resistant rats, for no effect at all.

Tobias you could really make a name for yourself among Eve industrial circles if you started to build up a viable market in the Bleaks. Or you could fail miserably and lose all your ISK there. Such is the way of Eve. But just because there aren't any items there doesn't mean people wouldn't buy them there if they were available at decent prices. Try to figure out where the limited economic activity is centered around in that region, if there is a single main trade system at all, and see how well you can profit with things that people will need for PvP such as MWDs. Or try selling modules that aren't usually available in that region period... maybe they aren't available because nobody wants them, but maybe] they aren't available because hardly anyone builds them and they are bought up immediately when they appear on the market.

I trade in Amarr prime on my alt and this char is in the Amarr militia so I think i can give you some insight.
Basically, all the buying and selling is done in Amarr. The same station the famous Chirbba {sorry if i misspelled his name} hangs out. Lots of trading action there but lots of competition too. I can usually bring in 1-2 billion a month though and I hardly spend any time actively trading so it is almost like an afk isk fountain. Basically just change prices one a day and haul once a week.
Like others said, the Bleak lands are barren but if someone started a good market there, i would bet it would get popular because I already see militia guys buying ships and mods from Amarr and stockpiling them in different systems. Eliminating those five extra jumps necessary would be nice for the militia im sure. Someone started a small market in Koumi {spelling}which is one jump from low sec and some people buy their ships and fitting there so it could work in the Bleak I think. It would probably have to take a lot of isks and a wide variety of ships, rigs and mods before anyone took it seriously though. The positive thing is the customer base is there already. The trick would be to make customers aware of your presence and wanting to buy there rather than Amarr Prime. I often thought about doing this but i just don't have the time and need my isk for my main tbh.
