The alliance is dedicated to the struggle to end Amarrian oppression and the enslavement of all Minmatar peoples still suffering under their control. Specifically, Defiant Legacy will work within the CONCORD Emergency Militia War Powers Act [EMWPA] to prevent the Amarrian reclaiming and to bring freedom to our brethren in the contestable systems of the Bleak lands and Devoid. Defiant Legacy will remain committed to the Faction War. We have no territorial ambitions beyond those mandated by the EMWPA. Our objective is clear: We seek to undermine the Amarrian Empire so that the cluster will be free from the threat of Amarrian aggression, expansion, and their enslavement of other races. Defiant Legacy will initially inherit Murientor TribeGÇÖs NRDS ROE and standing list, our friends will be contacted over the coming days to update standings. Onnen Mentar, founder of Murientor Tribe and veteran of campaigns against the Amarr dating back to YC107, describes our motivation: "Defiant Legacy offers a way for like-minded corporations to co-ordinate more easily and to advertise what they believe in: A way to laugh at the Amarr/Ammatar slavery doctrine and show resilience, ingenuity and strength to overcome whatever obstacles may lie on our path to freedom." I'll have to email your diplos for proper standings as we intend to visit Minmatar space soon :) While I, like many Minmatar, believe that it is time for the Matari people to become more independent of the Federation this in no way means we think that ties should be cut off from the Federation and I was honored to be among those that answered the call for aid that was sent out to The Defiant Legacy. I would like to clarify that while this military aid was by and large a Legacy fleet we did have elements from several other Tribal Liberation Force corps and alliances.
