ARghhh!
The number of times honour is thrown about in this thread would make you think it was a frisbee rather than a state of high respect and esteem.
1. Nobody is perfectly pure and honourable. The moment you claim an area of space and threaten innocents with death you are essentially saying "this is mine and not yours". Ergo, lack of honour, at least relationally.
2. Some have more honour than others. Honourable actions which require coaxing and ultimatums have no weight as they can be percieved as nothing but forced hands. If you need time to think about it, you might as well be saying "damnit - now I have to uphold my promise!".
3. Truly honourable people, those who consider it as a measure of self-respect and a goal whos abolishment has no price floor; react without self-interest in mind. They wouldn't curse at the fact they must do what they deem as honourable, they would smile and await it with open arms.
With that said, there is a clear line between those spin the threads of EVE, and those who weave them. Your average player is the spinner, he is at the source of change, and he provides the politicians (weavers) material with which to work with.
This thread, and this forum, is a playground of the politicians. A gallery of sorts, where the witty and sly can share their artful masterpieces with the rest of the EVE Community.
There was some distrust, deciet and dislike occuring ingame between PA (specifically CDI, as they are the ones at the center of the conflict) and some RKK/JF pilots. This led to actions which led to further distrust, further deciet, and further dislike of both parties.
This thread is nothing but the politicians using that putrid fabric of distrust and competing on who should wear the most.
War is inevitable. It will reforge and reshape the north once again, as it has done so many times in the past. You're either the leftover scrap, or you'll be reworked into the new casting, only to rust and ***** in the future once again. Ahh, the cycle of chaos, such fires put my heart alight
