Interceptors intercept a ship long enough for the blob to land on it and kill it.
Whats difficult about that?
It can also scout gates (doesn't bounce so far off if the gate hits you with a traffic control message).
Someone upset they won't have the ability to solo kill a poorly fitted battleships with their faction fitted crow any more? -- Two prostitutes standing on a street corner. Originally by: Ash Vincetti Did you read the issues and test interceptors on SiSi? or are you just talking out of your ass. What's "difficult" about that is that an AF or a HIC does the same job better, because you now don't have the maneuverability, transversal, or speed to "intercept" anything.
and inertia stabs don't exist? Seems pretty good for my tests on sisi.
Originally by: Ash Vincetti So can a t1 frig. Actually it's cheaper and better at doing the same role now. And about as fast.
Yah its bogus (about T1 vs T2 these days) Rolled Tungsten plates anyone?
Originally by: Ash Vincetti Don't fly a crow. Never have. Don't even have caldari frig 5. But that's ok. If you had read my points and the thread, you would have seen i'm not against the change period. I'm just concerned with how much it was changed. Yes, 17K+ interceptors were broken. Nobody is denying that. But it's too far out in the opposite direction now.
I can dig your point here. I'd prefer to see a clearer distinction of speed between ships that have speed as roles from ones that don't as well. CCP has months of testing and tweaking to do.
Hopefully they'll decrease mass on the ships designed for speed. -- Two prostitutes standing on a street corner. One says to the other, "Have you ever been picked up by the fuzz?" The other replies, "No, but I've been swung around by the ****!" |

So basically, anti-interceptor-weapons are now effective vs interceptors?
And this is a terrible break of the game how?

they are not, they are useless vs interceptors. You mean 'rockets and precision missiles' right? The ones that do 'full damage'. -- Two prostitutes standing on a street corner. ACs are awesome at tracking, but I doubt they are doing 100% damage to you. I know my vagas 180s didn't hit for 100% damage when I was testing it.
Rockets and warriors were put into the game specifically to kill interceptors (small, fast ships).
Light missiles, only the precision should be hitting for close to 100% damage. I'll be on in a mo and come test some more with you. -- Two prostitutes standing on a street corner.
