Your corp mate did not honor a ransom and I called him out on it. To be very frank with you, I find it very predictable that the accused would stoop to calling me a liar since the facts here are pretty solid. I must applaud your loyalty to your corp mate as it's very passionate. Perhaps you should be asking him why he decided to not use your ransom channel. Perhaps you should be asking him why he fired on my ship after he received his payment we per the ransom. I honestly believe that your corp mate would say anything to cover himself after he has been publicly been caught not honoring a ransom. However, he has not said anything here, has he. He has let you come out here and take the heat for him. Makes you wonder if you can really trust him, doesn't it? I don't trust him at all, he dishonored the ransom. That's all I am going to say on this. I presented my concerns, I presented my evidence when asked. I have not engaged in disrespectful smack talk, I have kept this civil and tried to be fair. It is unfortunate that your corp mate can not demonstrate the same. If you don't want to believe the truth, that's your decision.

You have a perfect grammatical exchange happening in a few seconds with (potentially) hundreds of millions on the line. You have conflicting timestamps in your convo, showing that you asked him if he received the money when you were perfectly capable of jumping out. You are saying that him and 'several corpmates' fired at you when in fact none of us were present. By the time we warped in, you were jumping out. Edit out the items around it if you want so nobody gets your trade secrets. If the wallet screenshot, and its timestamp, matches what is reasonable given both sets of chat logs, then you're probably telling the truth. If it doesn't, you're probably not. As a former pirate, I do like that the mafiosos guy is taking this seriously, because dishonoring ransoms is of critical importance to what is already an extremely difficult career. So, post a screenshot of your wallet OP.

Short of an API key you are both liars. The accuser should have no problem demonstrating an API and the accused should also have no problem. I can go right ahead and tell you how this ends though, the OP refuses because he is full of it, and Luminari refuses because all of his past dishonoured ransoms would be revealed.

When I logged in this morning, I found that Lumari has returned the ransom money. Lumari, thank you for coming forward and doing what is right here. It's unfortunate that my emails and convo invites were ignored and it is even more unfortunate that this escalated the way it has here on the forums. So, as far as I am concerned, this matter has been resolved. I am changing the title to this thread to reflect that the issue has been resolved. Hopefully this won't happen with them again.

The funniest part of the whole thing is he screwed over his corpmates, of which I know a couple who seemed like decent guys, for 15 million ISK. Now what little chance you had in the first place to make ISK off ransoms in your chosen pocket will forever be marred by Lumari's greediness. Everytime you try to ransom someone, you'll all have to wonder if Lumari has engaged the target in a "private" ransom of his own behind your backs. Shame on you Lumari. Although, if your goal is to be a friendless corp hopper that can't be trusted, then congrats, you're well on your way.
