I would like an ability added where you can activate items while inside a station. And if the items take ammunition then it wouldn't take any, just take any cap (or give cap) that the item would have. This is so you can see how well your cap will run using a certain setup without shooting a friend or even undocking.
This will let you see, for example, what resists you would be getting when you activate all of your hardeners, and how well your cap will do if you have that large armor rep, while your lasers are still running.
This is just letting you activate stuff inside the station, and it still affects your stats while you are docked. This wouldn't tell you how much DPS you would dish out or how much DPS you can tank, it just lets you run your modules like you are in space and telling you what your ship would be like if the module was running.
Like it? Don't like it? Something to add?

Edited by: Ydyp Ieva on 01/08/2008 09:22:02 EFT comes to mind, not sure how good QuickFit is these days, but I'm sure there are even more of those around.
So rather have them work on something more useful then things you could already find out with other tools.

This has been asked for numerous times, please search first.
I don't believe we ever got a concrete answer as to why we can't, however.

i park in the nearest belt and unleash the ****ing fury on an asteroid. - PvPers always say "GB2WoW". the message is that EVE is hard, and people just need to deal with it. wasn't it funny how when nano's started making it hard for *them*, that all went out the window? |

Wow... everyone is quick to say "Just go get EFT, noob".
What everyone fails to realize is... if this were available in-game... then no one would have needed to write the EFT program to begin with.
CCP's approach to fixing problems seems to be... let the players whine long enough that someone else writes the program. Then they don't have to put time, money, and effort into fixing it themselves. AND... if EFT should break down at some point... well, CCP didn't put their name on it so they're not liable. --- Don't take my ranting personally. I may just be arguing the topic, unless you're saying something stupid, and then I mean every word. "Players don't want Variety. They want THE BEST" |
