Actually Morphite has taken the biggest hit, up 50% from about 3 weeks ago.

Morphite, Isogen, Nocxium are all up % wise more of late. Megacyte rose mostly earlier when the amount in drone region alloys was decreased. It hasn't gone up nearly as much as the other 3 in the last month.
So the minerals increasing are in line with what you typically see as surplus from the drone regions. RK, Atlas, SMASH, Ka-Tet have all been gone from the drone regions for a while now, and associated pets etc. And their 'replacements' already had drone region access. As well IRON may be a little involved outside the drone regions so they are mostly pretty quiet.

I agree, the price of minerals are becoming increasingly too expensive to buy. WTH is going on?!

Welp, you can't just buy millions of shuttles when the price gets to 3.2 or so any longer.
Shuttles held the trit market capped for quite a while. Now Trit has a bit of a wider range to roam in. |

The shuttle refine price for trit was 3.6, and the only time any market activity was seriously shown refining Trit was in November last year. It was only brief and stopped without them removing the NPC shuttles, which they did anyway long after it stopped having any effect.
It's thus unlikely that the trit market actually aside from that one brief occasion was affected at all by shuttles.
It could potentially go higher of course. But that potential is yet to be realised. At the moment it's no doubt caused by the build up of capital parts for Orca production, so you can expect to see it drop in price rapidly after the expansion.

Orca - or rather, the people who are stockpiling minerals to build Orcas. Trit price spiked 10% in Ours within hours of the devblog going live, and have been slowly creeping up ever since.
