ive seen so many noobs who buy a char with higher sp then act like king god of eve, its actually sickening as those of us who actually spend years faithfully building our chars know better, heh heres the latest from xbountyhunterx, this may be of interest if u pass gondista and are fearful, lol.
[01:00:08] xBounty Hunterx > For corps that want a safe passage thru gonditsa system is 100 mil per month for single people for a save passage thru gonditsa its 50 mil per month and will garente a save passage corp standing to the person / corp will be set to blue as we operate on [01:00:10] xBounty Hunterx > a nbsi [01:00:15] xBounty Hunterx > let me know if interested [01:00:54] xS0u1zx > one thinks we should be not be talking about this stuff in local [01:01:04] Chinger > its all blue

I'm just glad he is no longer in dodixie polluting local chat there. Don't worry, he sucks. Someone will beat him down.

Personally, I'd go for a sensor-dampening nano-domi.

He joined our corp, gave out intel in local, got kicked from our corp, threatened to dismantle our corp, we told him to try, then he told us he was just testing us.

if it makes you all feel better he lost a dread on a gate, and nobody in the alliance would go to help because they hated him soooo much.

I live right next to Gonditsa and travel through there regularly and I've seen precisely **** that's threatening. The most I've seen is a Hictor + Megathron camp on the Gonditsa gate.

Considering how xBounty Hunterx's alliance fared in 0.0, I would have thought that he wouldnt be making threats that like that in local.

ItĘs funny, because I'm a noob, but it seems that everyone in Eve finds something to whine about in some way shape or form. Older chars swear they're owed some sort of mystic respect for being introduced to Eve before a noob like me. No doubt older chars have a wealth of knowledge that is extremely resourceful to players like myself, but outside of that, you just have an opinion not the word of an Eve GOD. To be clear I'm not saying I condone nor condemn char buying, (I'm to much of a noob to have an unbiased opinion) or that xBountyHunterx is a char bought by a noob player. What I am saying is regardless of that fact, Eve folks will have something to cry about. I thought that was why this game was built around non-consensual pvp,(and a virtual economy) so if you do not like someone or something about someone, you can let your turrets/blasters/missile launchers/drones/etc. express how you really feel about them.

aye I've ran across someone who's done this.
It Began when they started using a character they bought to support their main in a little argument against me (and YES they did reel off the classic 'I'm an '04 character, noob!' without irony to try and subjugate little old me who's an '08er . Apparently this 'Vet' character was their main all along, even though they only ever appeared in a certain corps public channel at the exact same time they started posting on forums (for the first time in 4+ years) for recruitment (thanks eve-search). That their main exhibited clear signs of an ebayer (buying carriers looong before one could use them, faction fitting Battleships with precious little mission running, getting scammed out of faction BS, an odd arrogance about how much isk they had) only makes it even funnier, or more painfully pathetic. I am not sure which.
I could name names but that would be smacking and I don't smack.

EDIT: Chinger, it's smack, because to think you can enforce that rule for that long 24/7 is ridiculous. Also, as icing on the cake, he sucks.

Stupid, irrelevent, or otherwise ignorant comments all fall under the 'smack' category.
And because this comment is obviously inflamatory in nature, it is also smack.

Like I said I didn't quite comprehend everything that was going on in the original post (although I got that safe passage was being offered for a price.) Are you saying that a NBSI policy can't be enforced 24/7?
If you can't maintain a NBSI policy then you need to start booting corp members. NBSI and NRDS are among the simplest concepts of intercorp politics. You don't have to actively enforce it because only morons ever violate it in the first place, and morons can be booted after the fact without guilt as punishment for breaking the NBSI policy.

I believe they're talking about one guy trying to enforce NBSI while simultaneously browsing eBay. 23 hours per day would be difficult.

I dunno, I used to run around highsec in my hauler (still would if I wasn't so bloody busy) and yell at local telling all the miners to pay their taxes or I'll take their ore.
I had a load of fun doing it. Sometimes it got me the fight I was there for (if I was lucky). Most of the time it started some fun conversations.
There's nothing wrong with his behavior. Kill him if you want to but there's no sense in doing exactly what he wants and making a forum post about it.
Props to him. ---- VHI - We Haul Your Cargo For Free ---- We Miss you Red 7. |
