And the region is full of NPC stations. It's like BOB said btw if u think you can take advantage of our absence we will come back instantly and wtfpwn u. AND EVERY 1 BELIEVED THEM. Now yes bob would respond within 2-3 days to a large scale invasion. And no doubt clear it out. But if 100 or so 20man pvp corps moved in all over delve and pb putting up 1-3 posses each. A. it would be fairly unnoticed over a period of 1-2 weeks. B. it would take bob ages to fight a guerrilla invasion on that scale. c. It would be 300+ towers they would have to find and gank. many of them in pet systems. D. each pet would want bob to clear their section of space first of the new invaders. i am not saying this should or should not be done. But i flew through 50 systems in delve, PB and querious today and ran into a total of 34 players. 17 of them nearly defiantly docked. 3 of em in hulks mining low ends in 0.0 with a single ishtar for cover. Be in no doubt this is the weakest bob space has been at for years. Makeing your npc hunters SS.

Thousands of pos's were lost. Clonejumps and backup capital fleets means that nobody with a ounce of brain would dare invade solo in todays enviroment. And thats the key issue, since to defeat bob requires people to be willing to lose caps to defend their pos's. And nobody wants to lose caps vs bob's fleet of dread lvl5 pilots, so putting up POS's is like throwing isk away. The only chance is if everybody works together and invades delve together and fights constantly till the battle is over, accepting massive losses in the process. However, 80% of industrial carebear alliances ASCN styled, which means they are basically glorified chatrooms and collection of isk farmer style corps who care for nothing bar their wallets. Most of these alliances are lead by incompetents who use the alliance as slave labour to buy/build themselves pretty toys. There are people in the NC who have over 400bil isk in their wallets. They will refuse to spend a single penny on their corp or alliance to fight in pvp. FOr them, all they want to do is run mining ops etc and keep the isk their members earn. If you can get these isk farmer style players to actually start working like a alliance to build strong disposable capfleets like gbc's, then invasions make sense. But that involves leadership skills which most alliances lack.
