Speculatation, discussion, expectation and extrapolation.
CCP recently announced the name for the summer expansion will be "Inferno"; but what will that mean for Eve?
I for one hope we will see either T3 BS or T3 Frigates. I think a lot of the industrial people would like to see an expansion which favours them and im ok with that as long as we get either T3 Frigs or T3 BS (we want new toys for pew pew).
Ohh and pls pls pls CCP dont nerf the drone alloys. Attack of the drones is my favourite mission.
Overall i think we all expect too see an expansion which shows us CCP is really giving Eve online the love and attention it deserves.

Fire, lots of Fire and Abaddons in the login screen.
The game has a tutorial that gives you a mining laser and a railgun and tells you to go shoot rocks and red crosses. It teaches you nothing else. It's been that way for 8 years, so are you really surprised that there are people who aren't aware that this is a pvp game? --Jafit McJafitson |

Hopefully Cruisers replace Shield Battlecruisers at the center of Skirmish Warfare. T1 Ships below Tier 2 Battlecruisers get a new breath of life.

I'm just hoping/waiting for the new Launcher models ( I recall on how confused I was when I tried figuring out where my ship had them... ), and the new v3'd amarr/minmatar ships. Everything else is pretty much bonus on my end.
Of course, I'd also like to see utility slots getting new stuff added ( Read: Models! ). :D |

Would be nice to have drones drop things that are used to make better drones..
I'm expecting mass amounts of drama about the tiericide
I just hope that ccp focus on the important things (imo) - ship balance / DUST514 linking into EVE / War, sov, FW fixes / Corp and POS management revam
Would be nice to see more options for industrial folks, which may happen with the new planet focus

The Mach and the Nightmare will be nerfed as a means of toning down Incursions. Why? Because it's easier to nerf ships than to change game mechanics or make economic adjustments. It also sounds more egalitarian if you nerf a couple of ships in order to make other hulls more competitive in incursions.
Finally, as part of a update patch to Inferno, the Jita statue will be replaced with an even more shattered version as part of the Mach/Nightmare BitterVet Riots.

5% bounty cut across the board
New wardec mechanics that will either protect bears for good and engage gankers or vice versa.
Projectile ammo will be called, Thermal Shells, EM Shells, Kinetic Shells, and Explosive Shells with a Long Range and Short range variant for each.
The Neocomm will still blink endlessly for stuff we don't care about.
Widescreen mode will return so we can clearly read our target information (yeah right)
The Drake nerf will be insignificant enough to not warrant changing to a different ship, but people will grumble endlessly about it.
NPC corp taxes will rise to 20%
Wardec resistant corps will need to pay a 10% tax rate to CONCORD
Wardecced corps can counter-bribe CONCORD to call off a dec if they do it before the war actually starts. Will redefine sniping.
Command ships will be the better that Strategic Cruisers for Command modules.
Drone poop will become drone diarrhea and bounties will be added.
