Eve Wide War One
ôThe Changing Tidesö

The first Eve wide war had begun with a multi front onslaught against the Curse Alliance and the affiliated alliance of the C4. The massive coalition consisted of FA, SA, CFS, m0ovolution, ATUK, Celestial Apocalypse and a host of other corporations. It appeared that 80% of the organized Eve universe was now focused on destroying CA/C4.
The Coalition forces assaulted from all sides and quickly entrenched in multiple areas in the wide expanses of the Curse Alliance territory. They preyed upon the mining operations and used the vast distances to engage the smaller groups of divided CA forces. The primary CA forces were seasoned veterans and well organized. They faired well against the coalition forces however the far-flung groups would have undoubtedly suffered losses as these roving Coalition battle groups caught them unaware and out gunned.
The C4 was besieged in the extreme south where they had previously taken the Paragon Soul and Esoteria regions from the once mighty SA. With a fleet of 80+ pilots consisting mostly of CFS and a smattering of FA they battled the C4 relentlessly. While the C4 had destroyed 30+ of the invaders, the Coalition used its numerical superiority to wrestle control of the stations in the area for the majority of the time.
Duke Droklar of Omega Corp scowled as he paced the floor. He had assessed the tactical possibilities and decided to concede control of the 2 regions to the Coalition forcesà for the time being. There were meetings with Xirtam ôThe Dark Lord of CAö and some of the military commanders of CA/C4. He then addressed the CA Council stating ôthere are too many war fronts and the CA/C4 must consolidate and focus its military forces if we are to defeat the Coalition which is the largest enemy force yet rallied against us. C4 will be returning to Curse to bolster the defense of the homeland. The CA MUST evolve and use new tactics. We MUST all pull together and work as ONE! Send us your pilots and together we will crush our enemies and march to VICTORY.ö
And so it beganà the CA/C4 warriors came with one thing on their mindsà DEATH to the dogs of the Coalition! The rapid strike Cavalry squads streaked around Curse, Catch, Stain and many other areas. Countless enemies were over run and destroyed with little to no losses. With lightning speed the enemy had no time to react and fell before the CA cavalry. Within two days enemy forces were fleeing at fist sight of the cavalry scouts. Every attempt by Coalition fleets to push against CA was repelled with them vanishing into the depths of space, the safety of stations or fleeing full tilt, many times leaving their allies to fall to the pursuing cavalry. Day by day this scenario repeated itself. By the third day of the new CA initiative the forces of m0ovolution were rarely seen outside of stations and were no longer considered a viable threat. By the end of the week, ATUK which had engaged CA several times were no longer seen operating with any serious force within Curse Space. The SA forces made faints towards CA space only to flee to safety at the first sight of CA approaching. The tide was turningà.
The Coalition forces continued false claims on the news wires about their victories as the CA continued to loot the burnt hulks of coalition vessels. The CA military juggernaut continued its bloodbath of the enemy feasting upon their tragedy. Regardless of the Coalition propaganda, their numbers were dwindling as their will waned and their inability to combat the CA Cavalry was apparent. By the end of the second week the Coalition forces were reduced to indy ganking guerilla fighters of no real consequence.
Reports of an incident in Xetic space was about to open a new chapter in the ongoing saga of Eve Wide War One....

Its amazing how many people (mostly atuk, m0o, evolution, SA) believe that wars are won by saying they killed ships on the forums, and not actually killing them ingame. All these factions know we are telling the truth, but actually think they are winning just from the posts they make. Its nothing short of pathetic - I really do feel sorry for these people.

You're using the word "coalition" too much, we're actually at war with two of the corporations you mention as our allies.

No, we didnt shoot them going to HLW one day, because we like some of the fellows in Mass. The rest of Stain thought we'd give them the same consideration, and let us get in scrambling range. So we ganked them.
Since Omega wasnt even in Curse, you shouldn't comment on what happened "every day."

That is a bare-faced lie, you jumped in on one of our fleets WITH Stain... i have pictures of it aswell as the battle log.
I was the one in HED-GP counting your fleet before we engaged you, and i was also talking to Stavros in local.
You may have turned on them after your campeign started going sour, but during the majority of it m0o was side by side with SA.

And trust me, they weretold not to. m0o will take this as a compliment, but they are ****ing savages. Some days they would work with SOME Stain members, and otherdays it would be a massicre. You cant trust m0o... they may be the true Elite of eve, but yah just cant trust em.

I would say that the original post downplays how much trouble we were in a few weeks ago.
We took reasonably bad losses (though nothing on the scale of SA to us, FA to m0o or Xetic to us), but more importantly Atukm0olution had control of some key systems in Curse.
Until C4 came back up we were pretty much stalemated.
Have to say the description of the tide turning is accurate. You simply dont see ATUK, M0o or evol in Curse anymore, indeed you rarely see enemies beyond U-Q (which isnt even in Curse).
SA took 15 BS losses in the U-Q fight yesterday, XETIC have taken over 150 in the last week. THings are SERIOUSLY looking up.
