Aye, you gessed it, im going after ore strip miners and need to get to this sytems as this is where all the ORE agents hang out...
So, who do i pay so i dont get shot while doing missions up there?
Been a while since ive moved out of 0.9 space lol..

So basically, instead of getting T2 modulated strip miners with the ability to use crystals for increased yield, you want to use overpriced (due to rarity) faction T1 strips with 2km extra range, that can't use crystals?

Theirs a war over ORE space right now. That makes not getting shot at quite difficult as nether side likes a neutral. But if you want a fight feel free make the trip. If I see you in local I'll give ya a wave. Course that doesn't mean I won't shoot ya.

Looking at the stats, i have type 2 strips now with crystals but they do 360 were as the roe's do 540, didnt know they couldnt handle crystals and thought they could, so ill go do my maths again.... see if they are worth the effort.
Time i dusted off the manticore i think :)
Are you saying then that a hulk, skill's @5 with type 2 strips + type 2 crystals mine ore than the ore strips?
Cheers for the heads up, saves me the effort of getting them.

Since ORE strips can't use crystals, yes, T2 strips outmine them by a significant margin (16-ish % to be more precise).
That extra range really isn't worth much.
