Take a moment, have a seat, grab a coffee, don't just type a reflex response. Really think about this. How many people in Eve have achieved the typical success levels in this game? Ships, kit, a billion isk, full implants, comfortable mining locations, hanger full of tat.
100? 1000? Who knows?
But who will be remembered a year from now?
Who will we talking about over drinks down the pub with involved friends? Who will get written about? Who will inspire fiction and player-led interaction?
Whose name will be immortal KIAEddZ?
Who are the heroes? Who are the villains?
What was their story?
What was their legend?
At the end of the day in a single shard game of this scope ... thats all that matters to me.

"actual history" and "the truth" are about as factually correct as every other flaming post on these boards anyways.
There is no truth in history, history is usually written in a one-sided manner which is not grasping the multi-faceted things going on (not just 2 but many sides).
