ZLZ After the previous evening engagements and the brief skirmishes in and around ZLZ, UNICOR did nothing except sit at safe spots until we got bored and left (and unlike you, I was there for the whole of the incursion in to the ZLZ area). FLEET ENGAGEMENT 9-266 - No idea... wasnt there, not gonna comment.... P-F Both sides KNEW in advance of the engagement what the sides were (both sides had scouts around the enemy fleets), both sides knew there was going to be an engagment and both sides knew they would BOTH get lagged to hell...... which they did. All I can say about P-F is that it was a slaughter house.... I have not seen anything quite like that since the PA got decimated by an FE fleet (can't remember what system that was in and I dont really want to). PA did not win by sheer force of numbers at any single point in P-F as a large proportion of both sides left the gate and proceeded to engage in running fights at every celestial object in the system (judging from TS), the gate battle was pretty even from what I could see after the first 5 minutes. I warped out from the gate after approx 10 to 15 minutes and moved to the Sun, a running fight took place that saw both sides outnumbered at certain points... people warping in and out, jumping round shooting and running..... This for me was the highlight of the fight, I think we got sweatysack (could be wrong as people were warping around like crazy and I apologise to sweaty if we didnt).... the Sun fight was great, the fleet fight sucked.... way to much lag.... I thought we also had killed Gunner, bit as he turned up heavily damaged later, I guess we missed him (which is why you dont see any ludicrous kill numbers here, simple fact is I thought we killed several people who later turned up again, sometimes damaged, sometimes repaired) Overall though it was great fun... from ZLZ to P-F, I had a lot of fun and look forward to fighting more fights... personally I hoep the engements can be smaller..... but whatever the future holds I'm sure it will be fun. Kirin	Posted - 2004.06.01 14:41:00 - [101] rotl @ Lowa... your post of the lag is so accurate but you left out the one that said when you clicked on a gun or launcher and nothing happened and you tried again and it said: "This module is attempteing to be activated, Please wait until it's complete." or something like that Lag at first for us wasn't bad but as the second fleet of PA arrived and doubled there numbers it got insane. I had to warp out and back in, when I got back in I thought I dropped somewhere in space but was actually at the battle, just took forever to load. Was great fun though. GL to all involved. All I remember is warpjamming a bship and running from the drones tryin to get out of range. But my screen just froze. All I saw was a big load of sprakly lights. Next thing I know Im sittin in a pod. Luckily didnt get targetted by anyone cos I couldnt warp out cos of the lag. Why dont you just DIE DIE DIE !!!!

Thats what happend to me in P-F... not sure if it was drones or that i was in that rain of torpedos/missiles all of a sudden i was at the hpa gate in my pod Got my battleship and came back to battle! Hopefully we will see more of the same tonight Synapse Well what actually happened in the area. was that PA took the ZLZ station. you guys assembled about 95% of all your available forces in the area. You could not take the station back from PA. There was a battle but you could not win and you then slowly retreated a few jumps back. PA then left to help other guys to fight. Silent Guard and friends then launched a minor raid in the south of the region and attacked some of your ships. downing at least 1 EV Apocalypse. (there was like no ships in the area :( After PA left you then went back to take back the station and then i believe unicore went to P3 to fight more PA. that is when i logged off to go to the movies and eat ice cream :D

Well, all I can say is that I take my hats off to both sides for a great fight. I was with Synapse, and our engagement was well fought and won by numbers until our local jumped to 115 and lag went through the roof, which is when we warped out (me in a pod I admit). It was a great battle, with no underhanded tactics that I could see. I congratulate both sides for just sitting down and fighting without running. Gundog Prime	Posted - 2004.06.01 21:29:00 - [107] I cant comment on the kills total as a whole over the night (I spent first half offline or just listening on TS as my PC SUX ) but i can tell you this, of the battles i listened to on TS i heard 'ok he's dead new target is XXXXXX' about every 10-40 secs in running battles, but the battles were short lived hit and move affairs, due to lag they SEEMED longer.
