Care to explain that one?
Anyway, RKK don't need you to tell them how many ships they lost, they'll already know. And there's no point telling the rest of us, because RKK will just say you were lying.

First engagement, allies come out slightly on top while understaffed and attacking greater odds at a camped gate.
Second engagement, 20 of our BS jump into 50+, needless to say we lost some of those due to the 2 mins of lag suffered coming out of warp.
Let me give you another quick lesson in return... Winning one round does not mean you win the war.

Well I flew with that fleet and heavily outnumbered our guys gave it one helluva try. I can honestly say I'm proud of the fighting spirit and pure guts of the northern allies for taking the fight to PA in their backyard at their strongest time.
And yes the lag was pretty extreme, on my third warp in it took 3 minutes to load space and when I got responsive my Raven the (RKK Wrath of Achilles) was stripped bare of armour and down to 30% structure. I just had time to fire the hardeners and shield booster and escape. What a rush!
Was very much my first experience of super lag blob fleet battles and its certainly an education. Still, this is likely to be a very long war and I am sure that the odds can't get much worse that this.
My full respect to our allies for striking blows with courage of honour. Victories are made from respect forged for comrades on the battlefield, and whatever the material loss tonight the gain in familiarity and friendships made will far outweight the balance and leave us in good stead for the future.

Very very proud. I and Artegg led the Allied forces in PF, and they responded with fevour and a commitment that commanders only dream of! Awesome.
Well played all hostile forces for having the balls to fight. Good to see you Jade on the same server node as I, an honour as always.
I was 18% structure to ships I couldnt see, I am guessing I was first targetted.
Losses were very very heavy for the hostiles in P-F, numbers are pointless, but needless to say, we are boosted by this. R-K can confirm 2 Battleship losses.
The first battle well and truly won, this war is going to be nothing but fun.
Congratz all.

The hostile forces were very very brave. No 2 ways about that.
An example: 9 Hostile Battleships gave their lives bravely. They all warped from the same place, to the gate where the majority of our fleet was at, they all warped in on top of each other, they were tangled up, couldnt warp away. 6 ships downed in under 4 mins.
I neither understand, or can see the reason behind this action, BUT, I commend your bravery, truly big bo.llox moment. You guys deserve a salute. Although I do doubt the quality of your military leadership.
That was the highlight for me, a true morale boosting moment for the PA troops.

Edited by: Ostaps on 01/06/2004 00:21:35 I have never expierienced a battle of this magnitude. I am only a soldier, I followed orders to fly into F-S, I had no idea our allies were fighting an even more epic battle in the next door system!
We proceeded into PA teritorry when we hit a heavily camped gate a jump from our destination. The fight was awesome, no smacktalks, much respect to our enemies! The fight, although heavily lagged, was clean and fun. Personally I saw at least 4 enemy battleships go down, from what I gathered after initial redeployment, both sides suffered losses. Of course there is going to be speculation about this, but it was, what it was. I strongly feel we did not act as cowards, we fought even outnumbered, the enemies stood their ground bravely and all in all, this was an exemplary battle!
FRAPS was used, I think, and the battle was captured, someone will encode it properly and release it, so that everyone could see what went on at that gate. This was a great offensive, I cannot wait for more information on what went on in the other battle.
I also want to say how proud I am to fight alongside such great pilots from IMRS, MLM, CELEST, PHA and others who joined the Northern Fleet. This sort of action is what I play this game for!
Keep up the good work, everyone!

It's is not stupid to warp into a larger force. Jesus christ if it was like that C4 would never get a fight.
You just gotta know what to do that's all. :)
Well done either way, good game RKK/JF for warping into them. Reverend Necrona |

Sorry I couldn't be there guys, degree exams have god awful timing. Couldn't they postpone it till after the RKK war? Anyway, long life the PA.

LMFAO what a crock of ****
everyone check this thread in a couple hours, EV will say they killed 27 PA ships, and lost 1 frigate.
I dont believe PA lost 13 ships TOTAL tonight.
