I see in the new CAOD rules that it's not possible to post with a character in a corporation created "Just to post on CAOD". While this is a good rule, it will open a pandora vase of accusations and insults, and I fear a bit too much discrection in the operate of moderators.
So, specifically, what is an alt corp created just to post on CAOD?

If it's just 1 man alt corps it would be pretty scary, CCP employees might have to LOG IN TO THE GAME to check.

I still think CAOD will be a toilet untill the day that by clicking on a Forum poster it reveals all 3 characters on an account. |

Vague rules are best, because fewer people will try to bend them. This is especially good against many in the current COAD posting base.
Bottom line: Don't even look at us funny, or we banz you. Pretty much how yobs should be dealt with too imo.

The tragedy of this decree is that there are plenty of legitimate corps comprised of a few individuals in the game who nonetheless post their opinions in this forum. It would be a disservice to the community and the members of those corps if they were prevented from participating in these discussions. I would hate to see regulations here where the posting is restricted to only medium to megacorps.

Nah, most of them aren't legit. Ban them all for the greater good. Then those individuals will get out of corporate high sec and really play the game.

Since they're mods, can't they just check their logs to see "hmm, how long has this char been logged in the last month" and look up said characters to see "hmm, have these been trading / missioning / PvPing / the likes" (as in what a real alt does) or have they just been idle for their entire time logged on.
This would mean that the real "alts" wouldn't be harmed, but the ones who do nothing but exist to post on CAOD would be forumbanned.
Which would explain why it was explained in detail in the rules as "Alts created just to post on CAOD" would be the ones not allowed anymore.
I'm sure there are plenty of ways already for CCP to check out what characters do / don't considering the amount of time (they claim *tin foil theory*) they spend on tracking down isksellers and the likes.

What they could do it check the IP / Service Provider of people that are suspected to be an alternate. If someone happens to log into two people that would help.
