I would think, a corporation created for posting purposes. It's a rubberband-rule really, and it allows CCP moderators a relatively free hand. There are plenty of other rules with elastic properties - nothing new there.

I just want to say my corp was not created just to post on CAOD. I haul stuff through empire all the time with this corp. And, it was formed back when CAOD was somewhat cool. OK, well at least tolerable.

Should be pretty easy to find out with a 2 minute examination. If they are suspected of being made for poasting. USe stuff such as:
Creation Date compared to posting
Logging in to actual game frequence
Corp characteristics...
CCP can put up some pretty stringent internal guidelines on a number of these criterias and off they go.

What problem is this supposed to fix anyway? As I see it, CAOD is a cesspool and it's going to stay that way no matter how the rules tart things up. CCP should just hardcode some filters (like the profanity filters) to weed out the anonymous posters, the pyramids, etc, that is, the really stupid stuff. And occasionally send a mod in to look for aggregious terms of service abuse like shock pictures and ****. Everything else should just slide.
And I agree with the others about Goonfleet. Their 0.0 activities are clearly just a transparent cover for a bunch of dedicated CAOD posters.

it s an easy question. is caod strictly for player organisations or is it a forum for all people of eve to see and discuss whats happening politically in eve?
in the first case ban everyone except one or two people from corps bigger than say 50 people and in the second case allow everybody in. either way the new rules don t make much sense but live and adapt.
i could now give a sermon why alt posting corps are sometimes needed but i bet no one cares. all i have left to say is that yes, once upon a time this alt and his corp was sorely created to post here but now has branched out a bit. now its to post on all forums while protecting the privacy of my main.

Good start, as long as its actually enforced. As long as I see alts like windypops and others still posting, I'm not convinced that CCP is actually serious.
And if this doesn't work, we need to be able to see all characters on each account.

My guess is someone who only posts in CAOD... I don't really have a main, i have several accounts with pilots in various corps. I think what is more important is what you say rather than which toon you say it.
If you just come on CAOD to post dribble and derail posts then I find that to be more annoying than someone who just doesn't want their point of view to be judged by which corp they are in.
If you are biased enough one way or another then someone will know generally which power bloc you are more closely aligned with.
I like to see good discussions, I don't need to see which corp the poster is with. CAOD fails because we do not really have much discussion, we get a lot of chest beating and whining rather than interesting discussions on politics and strategy. There are large slabs of the EVE universe I have NFI what is going on with because there is invariably zero content on CAOD.

probably a breach because discussing moderation isn t allowed but the policy is bogus anyway. would be better to put a rule in saying 'we ll ban anyone we like so behave'. putting it as it is now will just lead to confusion and anger. where is the difference between a trolling alt and an allowed alt? people in corps / alliances that condem poasting here have no option than an alt created solely for caod to post here.
and what about alliances created for the purpose to post here? allowed or not allowed?
