Edited by: Fallorn on 07/08/2008 15:34:49 No lvl 4 missions but null sec. This would help balance the risk/reward of high sec where it will be harder to kill mission runners and will give them incentive to go to lower sec space while doing this you should also move all lvl 3 missions to low sec because do you think the harder missions are going to be in the middle of a country or on the fringe and border. Then move all lvl two missions to be at least 7.5 sec or less so that their is a progression helping people move out of high sec. Sig removed. Ahh, the wet dream of 0.0-holding alliances, to have lvl 4 agents right in their space and not in empire. And then 75% of EVE population can just quit because they can't afford losing any ship in PVP as it takes way too long to recover losses.

maybe to low sec.....but null? Gate camp much buddy lol
I personally think lvl 4 missions should all be in low sec because...its a little sad that in a .5 or higher you can make enough money to:
1) buy all of the ships you want 2) buy gtcs 3) have a crapload of isk left over
I did it for a long time with my main....missions/salvage = amazing amounts of isk. However, I shouldn't make more in a 1.0-0.5 mission....compared to a low sec miner.(since he is at risk 24/7 in a belt)

nomen est omen?
how does this differ from 0.0 alliance? you can get even MORE there the ONLY difference is you cant do 0.0 if you are an occasional player. no more occasional pvp against easy targets (pve-ers spending their isk) what do you think missioners do with their earned isk? hoard it so they get a high digit number to look at? seriously, there is NO OTHER sane purpose in eve other than pvp (or general player-player interaction). playing the game purely pve is a waste of time and (rl)money.
if you earn isk, you go and spend it, everything else is just a waste. pure and simple.
to the op: what is the risk to a gang fit to kill lone missioning ravens in 0.0 against said raven? needless to say, there are quite a few lvl4 agents in 0.0 and lowsec. as a matter of fact, eveagents just gave me 100 lvl4 agents in 0.0 space alone, and this result is artificially caped. so get a clue before posting nonsense, you are making goons look more ridiculous than they are. ---- You don't have to like it - I don't blame you for not liking it. |

That is NPC 0.0, it's kinda like lowsec with lots of extra nastiness

Is it because of security status and concord response changes lately that Goons are asking for moving mission runners into null/low sec? It might be pure coincidence of course :)

I run L4 missions in Stain, which is null-sec. I make about 2-3x the amount of LP that a highsec mission runner gets and about 50% more than an identical lowsec mission. (I know the stats - I run missions everywhere)
Add to that there is less through traffic (at least of the non-blue variety) compared to any low-sec mission-running hub.
Oh and the LP rewards are really quite nice.
The price I pay for this is that Stain is NPC 0.0: You can't hold Sov. The minerals in the belts are atrocious. The explorations outcomes (for me, to date) are better in lowsec. We don't get officer spawns, and the faction rat loot drops have (for me, to date) been poor.
You have your own compensations in the deep sandbox.
There's already a functional progression of increased reward to draw people out of highsec, and draw them to take increased risk of getting their ship blown up.
I think that the only reasons you want L4 missions only in non-NPC null-sec are: So you can lock down systems as your own little playpens and grind away, So you can gank people (ie mission-runners) as a captive audience, who not looking for a fight and not fitted for PvP.
Not in favour at all.

I did not say non-npc null sec. I think it would be nice to get something but no I'm fine with them being in NPC null sec. I think caldari should have a little bit of space they control that is near lawless becasue it is so close to the border. It would make the game better. Sig removed.
