OMG its him again!!!!!!!
Ask why he says any of what he says and he repeats the same lines about greifers and whining and cheat codes but never says anything like "Oh I fly the ship all the ****in time and know what I'm talking about here is my killboard. See I can show you that I know what I'm talking about"
There really needs to be a troll rating on these forums. You get flagged for trollishness enough and its a temp ban.
To the op, stick with the ishtar. The vagabond has to go to close and isn't fast enough to escape. If it tries to escape you do no damage. If ly the vagabond AND I fly the ishtar and you can easily confirm that fact through google.

I guess the reason I see it a little different is because my ship was never THAT fast. My ishtar topped out at about 3.4k in straight line and orbited at about 2.9k. Intys getting into web range and slowing me down was allways a concern a concern, I never had a chance in hell of our running a inty. The thing with inty's pre patch (And will maybe hold true post patch) is that they don't like to get inside of 10k. Even when they knew I wasn't packing a web I think they understood that most nano's packed a neut of some kind in the highs and that meant insta death for them.
carry a flight of ecm drones with you for this. They have enough range to be effective on the interceptor and the interceptors signal strength is low enough to easily lose his lock. Align out and as soon as you see the lock is gone do some warp action. Make sure what you align to is extremely close because the interceptor will move through warp 3 to 4 times as fast as you and if your warp spot is to far away, he will likely be waiting for you there.

I'll admit I haven't gotten onto SiSi to play with it, but I would imagine the scrambler changes will make it a lot tougher for the Vaga, moreso than having less top speed. Even t1 frigates will be able to easily tackle them at 3.2km/s and with a scrambler and no MWD, well, even with the webs being slower, I'd imagine they'll be much more vulnerable than their current incarnation. I imagine people will still fly them though, but we'll have to see I guess, haha. At least my Vaga will be cheaper without the polycarbs.
1. Vaga does fine at what it does 2. T1 frig tackling vaga? Are you out of your mind? One medium neut (yeah youre a noob if you dont fit a medium neut on a vaga) and 5xwarriorII on a T1 frig...yeah...Tackling. Fail. 3. Poly vaga is fail to begin with.
OMG he's here TOO!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!
1. I agree, currently they are fine at what they do. This won't be the case post nerf.
2. I see where you are coming from but I think you havent thought about it enough. A t1 frig with a disruptor will shut the mwd of a vaga off for 10 seconds. So even if the vaga kills it its a good probability that his buddies have caught up with the vaga and are hosing it. 2 mil isk ship versus 100mil... but I agree in the fact that the t1 frigate is unlikely to fly away in that case. And in teh isntance of a t1 frigate 1v1 with a vaga wtf are you doing getting that close to a vagabond anyways? Chances are in that instance it wont be you "going after" the vaga and it will be the vaga going for what is essentially a free kill.
3. Omg I agree on something else... yea currently dual poly vagas are complete overkill in my opinion. My 1 poly, 1 aux thruster goes plenty fast enough and post nerf are barely worth fitting anyways.
