The ILN is sponsoring a Red Vs Blue Event.
Where: Korsiki
When: Saturday, Aug 9, Prep time starting at 17:00, Event at 18:30 (Eve Time)
Who: 2 teams of 20 pilots each (5 of each race)
What: A KABOOM (TM) Event, ships will explode! Last team with a ship wins (No podding)
Rules: 2 Teams of 20 players (40 Total) will each receive a box containing 20 ships, 5 per race. Each box contains from each race: 2 Cruisers, 1 Destroyer and 2 Frigates. Team Captains will receive the boxes at 17:00 and have 90 minutes to fit and prep for combat. The Arena will be 200km in radius and no warping will be allowed. Anyone getting more than 200km from the center will be fired on and destroyed by Bambi (Silent's Cruise Raven). The Arena will be announced just prior to start (So no one can make BM's)
NO T2 allowed
No Faction allows (This means no faction ammo as well)
ECM is a go
Logistics is a go
Team Captains will be elected by their teams
Named T1 modules is a go
NO RIGS (You'd think that'd easy but....)
All loot and salvage goes to the Uni
We invite the public to come watch our Red and Blue Team slaughter each other for their prize.
So far the purse is 125 mil isk to the winning team.

Only our Red team has gathered enough students to be complete. The blue team still needs 4 more people. Once they're full, I'll post the rosters here.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, the purse is now up to 145 million.

We'll have a public channel next time.
Blue Team won the match, with a long hard slug fest. The red team fought hard though and the last two red were quite tough.
It really was a fun and exciting battle to watch.
Blue Team each get 13 mil isk
Red Team gets 7 mil isk.
