I moved to wireless a couple years ago when I started having more computers than I had desk space.
10 years ago there was wireless lag, nowaday you can get a 3,000 dpi laser wireless and you'll never know the difference. Not only that, but I enjoy the weight the batteries add. Using NiMH batteries, and using the computers for about 16 hours a day (programmer), I get two weeks out of a NiMH charge. Keyboard gets about 2 months.
Oh, and if you have more than one PC, Wireless + Synergy = clean desktop. _______________ Pwett CEO, Founder, & Executor <Q> QUANT Hegemony

I have a computer desk with a sliding keyboard tray. I also have a G15 keyboard (original and best) which is huge, so don't have room for the mouse there, so I have a little folding table which I put beside me just for the mouse, with the cable routed under the keyboard and hanging between the tray and table. Nice and tidy.
It does mean that my mouse is beside me rather than in front of me, which I find more comfortable. I'm the only person I've met so far that does this, anyone do something similar? _____ Originally by: CCP Whisper In before Dietrich and Co. *click*

Originally by: CCP Whisper I think the OP means something like this. Another example would be this one. Or this one. Personally I've found mouse bungees to be really annoying, as the pull they exert on the cable when you move a bit further than normal is just as bad as snagging it on some clutter on your desk.
well done whisper thats exactly what i needed, many thanks
