Just curious if anyone's shot at them just for the fun of it. Or better yet if you unloaded on CONCORD or the empire navies. But seriously, more people should have some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post. |

If your over 150k from the stations you can still snipe npc haulers in empire as long as they dont belong to concorde.
The sentries around the station will flag you so dont dock up till your counter has reset. The mostly drop rubbish but you can get the occasional surprise.
Not done this for a good while but I assume its still possible.

yes u can and they shoot back not tried it in a long time but me and some corp m8's killed every npc around a station in ordion after a short time they respawn in bigger numbers but be careful they shoot back hard if you shoot concord now your dead eve has changed alot over the passed few years so i would test it in a cheap ship first My fav trick was going into low sec and killing billboards the sentries shoot you and the billboard fires missiles at you but it dies and soon respawns as i said eve has changed so this may no longer be the case.

yes you can, i was grinding standings up for the FDU, and decided that it might help if i shot some navy caldari ships, got in a frig to test it out, and chased a Caldari navy frig down and shot at him, and he shot back, lol
also logged onto the test serveer and shot at a small concord drone . . . and got concorded, lol

Ah it's good to see you know how to use a period, I almost thought for a minute there that you had no idea what it was. _________________

I went to amarr space a few months ago, sat at a gate in my typhoon and just killed the waves of cruisers/frigs and the occasional battleship that came- pity. They never dropped loot

The sentries dont shoot you at all if the haulers aren't from the corporation of the station. All they drop is npc goods tho. In my noob days i chained a system for a while and they did seem to improve the more you killed, but the npc good were not worth much.
To be sure the haulers aren't from the corp whos station you are at you have to be at whichever station they undock from, then watch as they ****** about for 20 mins and see what station they warp to. You then warp after them at 100 and kill them. (unless both stations belong to same corp). They shoot back but are pathetic and die very fast even to a t1 frig.
Get it wrong and shoot a hauler in front of its home station and the sentries will own you.

Stations will spawn npc haulers flying their racial industrial ships only, so if you see Badgers outside a Minmatar station, you know you're free to kill them.

Last time I popped a convoy it cost me like 20% of my faction standing for about 3 ships.

I slaughtered 2 hauler, 2 trailers, and a retailer al in badgers outside some caldari station in caldari space. Did it in a kestrel with T1, and civilian mods. Didn't even break a sweat. I got the "Sure you wanna do this silly thing?" message, but no clue which faction/corp it cost me standings to. Nothing in any logs, so. All-in-all nothing affected. Loads of trade goods. there was a lvl 2 kill mission with two npc targets. on the same grid would spawn a large caldari navy fleet you were instructed not to shoot.
i kill the targets, then roll in behind the navy fleet. i figure i can align and kill one or two frigates before tank breaks and i have to warp.
the navy griffins web and scramble, and the 4 bs and 8 or so cruiser quickly ash my mission caracal..

If they're heading towards the station you can kill them, sentries won't open up. If they're heading away, that's when the sentries will shoot. - <-Gnipp3r. |
