Did any of these trillionaires not own T2 BPOs before invention? Maybe they got into invention when it came out? or bought the gallente ship invention modules for 10mil each and sold them at 900mil?

And btw. 2 billion a day is nothing if you get into the secrets of Jita day-trading; but that's another EvE than most people play.
If you are into the Spaceship-pew-pew side of the game, 1 billion is more than enough to keep you doing pvp for a long time (thanks to insurance).

I have around 240mil at the moment and 1 ship, a destroyer...
The usual Amarr stuff in the hangar, plates, crystals, guns etc etc.

i got up to about 8b from trading and science activities about 1.5 years' ago and haven't lifted a finger to make isk since.

Just bought myself a Brutix to replace my blown up Myrmidon. Didnt have enough money to buy and fit the myrmi ;) So if you feel pity, donate! j/k
I just got enough standing to do level 4's, so I guess my next goal is to earn enough to buy myself a Mega or a Dominix. Then id be earning money to be able to loose a bt of ships.
Current Walletsize - 1,2 million.
