Ioci Gallente Ioci Exploration	Posted - 2008.08.09 14:29:00 - [1] With all the talk of making 2 billion ISK a day, what's the wallet size of everyone? I sit on around 400 mill right now over all my accounts. Assets I suppose puts me in the 2 billion area. I score a good loot every now and then, 99% of them on lowby noob chars in .8 sec. Make the gauntlet run with a hauler full of salvage and loot when I think it's safe but I and most of the people I know in the game just don't have access to these billions. Am I and everyone I know the minority? I'm looking at a billion worth of books I need to buy soon and I sure would like a piece of this big fat pie I hear alot about in the forums

Im tempted to get me a Bhaal/Rattlesnake in a week or two. Just because i can. Current ships are mainly faction fitted, or atleast t2. Fully rigged. Golem/Chimera/Widow, all the way down to a rigged hookbill. So yeah - Assets i have 5 bil im guessing. But im cursed with all that. Literally...i get the isk, i buy something. I then actually NEED the isk for something, and find i need to sell about 3 ships in order to pay for it. Ive sold more ships than ive ever lost. And im not a manufacturer or anything

Somealt Ofmine	Posted - 2008.08.09 14:47:00 - [7] Tens of billions. Less than 100. Same ballpark in assets, but I've been playing a long time. Other than those being paid to farm isk, grinding isk for most people in the game is a necessary evil that funds other activities that tend to cost isk, so they do it in spurts when they need the cash. There are some for whom the size of the wallet is their "scorecard" in the game. Those folks tend to specialize in trading and/or manufacturing. So, don't let the astronomical isk per hour figures mislead you. Grinding isk tends to be not the most fun you can have in the game, so not all that many players live on a steady diet of it. I mostly manufacture, research, and trade right now, but I haven't always. Most of the isk that I have I made in the last year or so. It's not what I'd prefer to be doing. I'd prefer to be in awesome fleet fights that last for hours and keep me up way past my bedtime listening to the chatter on Vent while I do battle. Those are broken, though, so here I sit getting rich and not playing as much as I used to. I'll head back out to 0.0 when they fix the mechanics and fleet fights aren't ridiculous slide-shows anymore.

I keep waking up with a hangover and finding random ships in my assets list. Most famously once a Dominix (I have gallante frigate 2 and that's it) CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

Current Net worth is in the neighborhood of 40-45 billion (liquidating everything)

I also have perhaps half that amount in assets. That's pretty crap for a 4.5 year old char but I have a job that leaves me unable to devote much effort to Eve. I play the game to relax and chat with friends. If I went back to playing the market as well as missioning I could easily pull down 200mil a day. It's not hard to make a bil a day from the market but does take some effort and good bookkeeping. Now, the only issue is how much is enough for you Highest wallet I ever had was around 8 bil liquid ISK, over 10 bil worth total most likely at the time being... and stopped for a LONG time making any more ISK at all, since I didn't need any at all in the forseable future... and I switched to pay-gametime-with-ISK too about the same time. I didn't drop below 3 bil ISK liquid yet, and I only idly make some cash once in a blue moon, just before I need to spend some for a GTC or to get a new ship... but other than that, I don't make ISK at all. I know a guy in my corp that's sitting on over 30 bil ISK, and plenty more people with less ISK, but still multi-billion figures. Heck, under 1 bil liquid+assets, I'd call that person rather poor, IMO. Still, if you go over 1 bil liquid, most people feel like they don't need to do anything anymore.
