The thing that annoys me the most with people is when one gets really good at something and then uses it as an excuse to sit comfortably, in utter self-satisfaction with himself, a lot of times in spite of a growing public, and making everybody feel small underneath him.
I get urges of murder with people like this sometimes, I really do. I don't know what gets to me, the fact that Im jealous or maybe that this person being so good and all couldn't bother finding ways to further himself and abuses his comfort, making us poor tards feel drained and dispassionate about what we could want to achieve as it seems that getting there aint worth the trouble no more once you get there!
I dunno, if someone gets "good" at something why don't they simply try doing that thing they're so good at tied by their feet hanging upside down or something? Now that'd definately be more fun to watch the poor sod having difficulty trying to reinvent himself after being lazy for so long...

What thing? Lets take video games, have you ever seen a counter-strike or BF2 playing pro doing for it with his keyboard upside down or behind his head? Or even play upside down entierly! I've met guys who had so much "talent" in making realistic paintings that they ended up just doing that for a good 10 years... Wtf, like I said I shoot at this behaviour wherever I see it.
And you, ever felt like leaving your own knowledge of what you're good at for a bit? Usually in situations where you're likely to face prosecution from whomever you're speaking to, as though you know more than they do.

"Leave my knowledge" or "Keyboard behind head" = Knowitalls, if you're good at what you know, unknow and relearn!GET CREATIVE! There's always something to be missing.

For her or any chick I know, that wouldn't be good enough. Your girlfriend on the other hand, might have started taking a dislike in your skilled technique...

Quote: .....Whats the problem with somebody enjoying what their niche is in life?
Well yea I guess some people adhere to like remaining in their own little cave, or cage I dare say...
Quote: I have no issue with people being better than me at something, it's the ego that ruins it.
The ego could drive them at being good at what they do too, and for any ego, going beyond a good or bad answer when you're that good, is what it's about usually. Sadly some folk just suck at being good and end up failing miserably.

Quote: Heh that reminds me of tekken 3 on the ps1, I used to get epic combos on my friends with eddie whilst I was blindfolded and using one hand.... They really hated when I used eddie.
I wish I filmed it, it was pretty awesome.
Still not good enough, don't try getting even with me boy.
Quote: The irony in this post amuses me. It stinks of somebody who could whine about ANYTHING. You're whining about other people doing things they've worked hard at and enjoy doing.
Seriously?
Yes seriously, if they enjoy doing it, why should they stop?

I know I am and then well, we have a problem.
It's like this guy I knew in school, he took an IQ test at an early age, he'd scored 200+, and he was the laziest **** I'd ever met in my life, now he's become an ignorant tard and ended up stuck in his own world.

A true analogy? You a carpenter?

Quote: On a FPS level one could argue that people who are FPSPro's need to go easy on people for once, which is why for the most part (Excluding *******s like me who coincidently are also playing the most *******-prone MMO alive) they stick to servers with like-wise tuned players.
Then i come along and once i'm fed up of "Well balanced games" i like to find a remote server which comes across to me like the admin(s) are *******s who think that because its their server, we should play to their standards, and **** everyone off to the point they stop playing there.
Then we need more freeform games where reward points get asessed to how well the player does under a handicap of his own invention or being imposed on him, also depending on how "good" he came to be, and losing reward for doing all the time the good same shit that works.

Quote: Also, at your statement, isnt that what most people play MMO's (more particularly, Sandbox MMO's, like, you know, Eve?) to achieve? ontop of it all oyu get socialisation of people who share an interest in game-genre, what more could you want!
Your stuff.
To achieve what?
