The thing that annoys me the most with people is when one gets really good at something and then uses it as an excuse to sit comfortably, in utter self-satisfaction with himself, a lot of times in spite of a growing public, and making everybody feel small underneath him.
I get urges of murder with people like this sometimes, I really do. I don't know what gets to me, the fact that Im jealous or maybe that this person being so good and all couldn't bother finding ways to further himself and abuses his comfort, making us poor tards feel drained and dispassionate about what we could want to achieve as it seems that getting there aint worth the trouble no more once you get there!
I dunno, if someone gets "good" at something why don't they simply try doing that thing they're so good at tied by their feet hanging upside down or something? Now that'd definately be more fun to watch the poor sod having difficulty trying to reinvent himself after being lazy for so long...

Err specifically good at what"thing".
Personally whatever im good at I like to spread my knowledge about whatever it is to those that need such knowledge.... But I personally do have an ego at times and know some people with MASSIVE egos themselves.

What thing? Lets take video games, have you ever seen a counter-strike or BF2 playing pro doing for it with his keyboard upside down or behind his head? Or even play upside down entierly! I've met guys who had so much "talent" in making realistic paintings that they ended up just doing that for a good 10 years... Wtf, like I said I shoot at this behaviour wherever I see it.
And you, ever felt like leaving your own knowledge of what you're good at for a bit? Usually in situations where you're likely to face prosecution from whomever you're speaking to, as though you know more than they do.

Im confused about what your asking me to do when you say"leave my knowledge", if your asking what im good at I am good at a number of things.... Mostly grasping hard concepts and I know a great deal about some games.
Prosecution? You mean somebody saying im wrong? If so then I expect this, but I believe in paying forward when it comes to knowledge, and sometimes I get a little back in the process.

"Leave my knowledge" or "Keyboard behind head" = Knowitalls, if you're good at what you know, unknow and relearn!GET CREATIVE! There's always something to be missing.

Ok, ive read this three times, i think i get it...
Youre coming down on people for becoming exceptionally good at something, and then not deviating from it or doing something to further increase its difficulty, like making a watercolor painting outside in a typhoon? either you cant just friggin live and let live, or the thing he was exceptionally good at is sleeping with your girlfriend...

Depends cos we might have fundamental differences on living.
Quote: or the thing he was exceptionally good at is sleeping with your girlfriend...
For her or any chick I know, that wouldn't be good enough. Your girlfriend on the other hand, might have started taking a dislike in your skilled technique...

I mean prosecution against that kind of Guru talk above.
Go ahead and prosecute me now, time to get even!

Well everybody has a niche, most people like to stick with things their good at and I have no problem with that.
Also, I never said I am infallible, but I like to spread knowledge.

The ego could drive them at being good at what they do too, and for any ego, going beyond a good or bad answer when you're that good, is what it's about usually. Sadly some folk just suck at being good and end up failing miserably.

Let me guess, somebody pwned you in BF2 and he smack talked afterwords so you come here to say all the stuff you couldnt think of on the spot?
Im not a fan of smack talking, but just laugh at him and tell him he needs to get laid and all will be well.

The irony in this post amuses me. It stinks of somebody who could whine about ANYTHING. You're whining about other people doing things they've worked hard at and enjoy doing.
Seriously?

Never near good enough! Nah he didn't smack, I just asked him what his sitting position was in front of his computer when he killed me.
Heh that reminds me of tekken 3 on the ps1, I used to get epic combos on my friends with eddie whilst I was blindfolded and using one hand.... They really hated when I used eddie.
I wish I filmed it, it was pretty awesome.

It's like this guy I knew in school, he took an IQ test at an early age, he'd scored 200+, and he was the laziest **** I'd ever met in my life, now he's become an ignorant tard and ended up stuck in his own world.

Yes seriously, if they enjoy doing it, why should they stop working hard for it?
Enjoying something and working hard don't always go together, its the reason most games come on multiple difficulty levels for example, because sometimes, you know, once you've beaten "Massacre Mode" 10 times with zero deaths minimum bullets used no saves and under 2 hours in one sit-in, sometimes the Difficulty/Fun ratio tips a bit, it stops being fun because it starts being almost monotonous to you and just cause you know how to do it doesn't make it any easier.
On a FPS level one could argue that people who are FPSPro's need to go easy on people for once, which is why for the most part (Excluding *******s like me who coincidently are also playing the most *******-prone MMO alive) they stick to servers with like-wise tuned players.
Then i come along and once i'm fed up of "Well balanced games" i like to find a remote server which comes across to me like the admin(s) are *******s who think that because its their server, we should play to their standards, and **** everyone off to the point they stop playing there.
Its the same as a Carpenter who has built Boats and Play-Houses, he can't just keep doing whats difficult, sometimes he enjoys bird-houses or little wooden figures, its all in the balance.
