I'm sure this has been posted somewhere at some point, but I CBA to find a relevant thread.
I have only visited the eve gate once long ago, just for the sake of boredom, But recently a friend notified me it looked "different." Upon inspection i find a very large bright portal, a monster in comparison to the small bright spec the gate used to be.
I'm not one to get into roleplaying; I find it's waste of time but... What does this mean, exactly? Is it simply a new graphic updated for trinity?

People tried to go there back in the days when you could just warp forever. It was some kind of bug, you could warp in a given direction- like say, toward the EVE gate- until you logged out.
There's nothing there. Yet. I think CCP may do something with it someday.
Made a couple pilgrimages myself. ;)
