Well, it's really obvious that, despite the best efforts of the Gallente Union, the Caldari State Citizens have won the race to collect the most Jovian pieces. At current count, they can fill three orders of Cerebral Sliver and almost one Liver Bile, and the Gallente, who I've been a dogged supporter of since Day One, have yet to fill even one order. It's been a great race, and I had a lot of fun participating in this contest, so congratulations. I wouldn't mind buying one of your Cloaking Devices when you build them (race issues aside :P ) but good job to everyone who took part in this event, on both the Gallente and Caldari sides.
(P.S. We'd have totally beat you if you hadn't managed to get that 3000 epidermal order :P )

( It ain't over till the 9th. Rememeber there are alot of non affiliated gathering attempts who can sell sliver to any commisoner and sell other parts away from their racial ones to gain the cloaking BPc's. The caldari ETC might be a little ahead of the GU from whats seen, but it ain't over til the fat Jove sings and the winning race is announced. This might be a ebil fed trick to get us to slow down. )

You mean Epidermis Sliver right.....
If they got Cerebral Slices, then we are in luck, becuase if they sold them, it would only benefit the gallente.
Anyway.. We the gallente have more parts then you think... Dont worry, we can still beat them. ------------- Most tired of thing atm: - Mods on the forum saying: "Please use the bug report page to submit bugs, the forum is not the place to post them." and then closing a topic. |

I haven't followed the gallente efforts in detail, but you appear to put a lot of energy into it and it's possible that you win (although I hope you won't).
I don't know anything about the amarr/minmatar efforts though - is it kept off the forums or are they inactive in the matter?

Indeed, but from the stats on the Gallente Union, we're way behind. I'm hoping you guys can pull a fast one on me, but we'll see. In any case, I'll do whatever I still can to support the Gallente cause, of course.

Remember that the number of orders needed for each faction is weighted by population of players of that faction.
As it stands, Caldari have the highest number of characters and I -think- Gallente have the least.... maybe its minmatar, though. Anyway, we're not out of the running yet!
I hope my corporation doesn't read this, but I plan on escrowing my saved pieces to the Gallente, instead of selling to the corp (which is mostly Caldari, with plans to sell along that basis).

Yeah, Caldari have the most (~35%) then afaik gallente then minmatar then the amarrans bringing up the end. I wish i could find the blog that had the proportion of players for each bloodline etc, but from a recent one, i believe that caldari have nearly twice the proportion of amarrans.
/me goes to find Dela (?) in TCM from months back to try and make sure they sell to caldari's.
EDIT: found it courtesy of Amarr Network though it should be pointed out that this includes alts of course I wonder what the proportion of those caldari are main's on an account, as well as the other races as i think this is purely a character count.
Caldari: 35% Gallante: 27% Minmatar: 21% Amarr: 16%

WAIT WAIT
what about the blood raiders......did everyone forget about the bloods.
Hell so they collected pile and pile of the stuff and the news even said something big was coming out of that.
My gutt feeling is that the bloods will have to ferry all their collections at some point.
Now that is gonna be one fun convoy to hunt if the do ferry all that stuff they gathered.
Now with that being said, I'm sure if they got one hauler full of stuff.........that might make a change in the outcome pending who might happent to successfully intercept that convoy or hauler
Time will tell, funny how this is all playing toward patch day
