Has anyone been able to get this working? I just keep getting a turning icon.
The link to contact customer support is quite unhelpful in recommending a particular type of petition to file. There is no category for Fanfest or Live stream TV and, I fear, filing a petition under anything but 'stuck' will not be looked at until after fanfest.

LOL - ok - I missed that. I was going by the time shown on the account management page. Thought all was on schedule when the link for the HD stuff actually activated at 10:30 GMT.
Woohoo! now I have a bit more time to let the anticipation eat away at me!

Technically, GMT and UTC always match up.
BST (British Summer Time: GMT+1) starts this coming Sunday, but Iceland time and Eve time both just stay on GMT/UTC all year round. |

if any1 a@ CCP is reading this its probably u have 2 different clock sources running as master (the things that make all the equipment run in sync)

The low quality version works, I see the EVE TV image and I hear audio.
But the HD is black screen but with audio.
Seeing as other people seem to have an image on HD, I guess it doesn't work for me. |

Did you login to Account Management, and then selected one of the HD options (800, 1200, 2000 kbs).

yes, I logged into the account site and tried all three HD versions. All of them give audio and black (actually the background of the player itself) screen.
I do get the spinning in the beginning like normal and that disappears in a second or two and then I get audio and no video. |

If you stop the stream, you have to get back to the stream selection web page and start it from there.
And yes, the audio is a lot behind the picture for me as well, I thought it was on my end, but you guys have the same problems. |

Audio on the 2000kbit HD stream is now in sync for the presentation (crimewatch, at least) and the interviews between. The interviews were the worst imho at the beginning. The static is gone during the live stuff - the adverts had a bit of it again. I have my volume set for no more than 50%.

I actually have a technical issue with the (non-HD) stream. I watch it on my secondary monitor, which is rather old and has a 4:3-ratio. If I go fullscreen on the stream, the ratio get stretched to 4:3. Is there a way to tweak the player to stull respect the ratio in fullscreen? |

CCP every time a video in EVETV starts (no live action, a recorded video) my audio starts to fry a lot, like when you are frying chips.
My audio is fine as i just tested with youtube, media player ecc. |

Okay, i didn't have much faith in Dust but it actually looks pretty cool... However, they really need to remove the life bars from above the enemy's head.
I'd also love if i could switch between first and third person when i'm on foot. It's never really a problem in open world shooters. |

As mentioned in the other thread, you have to wonder if it was intentional considering just where it stopped. I wonder if ayone caught Bolton jerking Mittens around on camera or getting thrown out too? I guess the problem with this fanfest is that some of these people are becoming more akin to cartoon characters rather than human beings we relate too.
I will say on the positive side that CCP Sunset should be around more often in video. She's cute and knows how to dress for it (I'd not lie and call her beautiful) and comes across as the gaming girlfriend we all wanted at one point. So, good on her. *LUV 2 U Babe.* |

I guess if we want to actually see the panels and discussions we have to spend 2 grand and take a week off work to fly to iceland.
I'm not sure why CCP even bothered streaming it this year. It's pretty obvious they don't know how to use the equipment. |

Well saw the HD video of the Dust footage on youtube now. Though I kinda raged when the HD stream died the moment Hilmar entered the stage. Watched the Dust presentation in low definition then and missed the first minute of it.
Really CCP, that needs to get better today. There was a reason so many people bought the HD stream.

Well, hopefully things will go better today... The first run of the Dust Keynote's HD Stream was almost unwatchable, (I was watching from the UK) so I hung off for the rebroadcast, which thanks to the delays, came on around 3:45am - which I wouldn't have minded staying up late for - if it had been worth it...
It had barely started when sound distortions started repeatedly blasting through my speakers, at ridiculous levels, so I tried to re-load the Stream to see if that'd get rid of it... It just 'hung' and refused to load, so I logged back in and was stuck with a spinning circle.
I eventually got back onto the Stream just as the orbital bombardment stuff was finishing. Not much left to see after that.
I'll just have to wait for their YouTube upload, but I seriously hope that today's broadcast is better. |

Still audio issues on the pre-recorded stuff (including all of the little title clips) on the HD stream. Horrible crackling and hisses and something that resembles an old walkman (tapes, yes) running out of batteries.
The live stuff is fine. |

I'm in the UK too and my experience was much the same except that I didn't see any of the orbital bombardment stuff at all - the one part that I was really interested in.
To say I'm feeling cheated barely covers it. |
