Took me a lot of tries, but I finally figured out how to complete this mission quickly and easily! I aggregated all my experience with this mission into a document, I really hope it will help someone.

Nicely writen, allthough more images of the mission itself would have been prefered, liked the intro part anyways (that image allways cracks me up) |

That was a temporary thing - it's fixed now! (My git post-receive hook kinda went boom - didn't have a recent enough version of my tempting mechanism for some of the markup I used on that post)

Not a bad point. If I get assigned it again, I'll be sure to take some screenshots. I need an excuse to properly format sidebars and whatnot on the new blog anyway /-: What were you thinking - like the drones that spawn in the overview, the boss under attack, anything else?

I did the storyline the first time with a Active Shield Tanked Laser Myrmidon (tm) of all silly things you could fly. Had to warp out a couple of times but I had it all under control most of the time and eliminated all drones and structures.
Second time I did it with a phantasm and had to go sniper with it in the parts with Neut Towers but it worked. Anything short ranged will die horribly as well as ships that have issues hitting small and fast scramming drones.
You only need to be more careful in what to shoot first. That's why I like this mission line, it needs some brains to finish without screaming at the screen.

Simply refitted my Drake with a purely passive setup, only went for the drones and the BS and that was it, I never bothered with the towers.
