ok, i did not do missions in the begining and done alot and alot of npc killing. now i want to do the agent missions and get some implants and bpo's and bits..
so i understand that the better your corp standing is, then you will get better missions and at a higher level. so when i do agent missions my standings for that corp will increase right?,, wich in turn give's me better agents..
ok i think i get that.
next so as i increase my agent lvl to 3, i will get a few bpc and implants, (i believe this is a one in 5 chance no mater what type of agent it is, and all lvl3 agents can give at least two implants.) the above i have read from many post's. so i have been busy trying to work out my own the answers that i need.)
ok so i think i get all the above but still a few question's.
i have done about alot of agent missions at lvl1 for 1 agent. and my agent standing is 1.5 but my corp standing that the agent works for is taking forever to build up. so how can i increase this or am i missing somthing.
also when i do get to lvl3 missions i will be able to go and vist and R&D agent.. that i will be able to do missions for and get the "lottery tickets" for the good bpo and rare stuff.
ok so is all of the above correct.
your help pls.. thnx in advance.

Well I don't know why you have not risen some in standing with your agent.
But I can give you this advice and I don't know if you already got it but train your Connection skill and Negotiation skill to lvl 3... so did I anyway and when I started with a new corp (agent corp) I had to do a few missions for lvl 1, then a few for lvl 2 (this is like 2-3 missions only) and then I could start on a lvl 3 Q -9 agent where I have been doing some missions for now including 3 important missions.
To do missions I have learned that Connection and Negotiation skill is very valuble, and it can be good to have Fast Talk and maybe Criminal connection I think it is called....
Personally I got Connection, Negotiation and Fast Talk to lvl 3... and is happy with that... in a few days I have risen to like almost 3 in standing with my agent.

you are correct i dont have those skills.. but i believe its only 4and5 percent perlevel and i have done atleast 20 missions with this agent.. i think i have done close to 30. in a rifter with a mwd i can do them very quickly.
so i am still abit lost.

You need to do your tutorial missions. I have made a small faq for beginners here: Linkage

I would recommend that you check a few things :
1-Your highest faction rating - it should be Gallente I guess, this could determine how high you can go directly in your agent ladder. If you say you hunted a lot of rats, this faction might have come up.
2- Train those social skills! Social gives faster standing increase, Negotiation gives you more money for each mission and Connections is essential as it gives you a 5%/lvl bonus from the difference of your current standing and the maximum of 10, which can be quite good at lower levels
3- Look up some corp you want to work for on the Eve-Online website. +Then ingame you can check the agent listing for them and see what agents you can work for, if you are lucky, you might even skip directly to lvl 3. Look around the listings already existing to see what corps gives what implants

Yeah, you should restart your tutorial missions if you haven't completed them. They give a nice standing bump, which compensates you for suffering through exercises that teach nothing at this stage .
At lvl 1 and 2, it's about gaining corporate/faction standing as efficiently as possible. Three suggestions: 1) go with combat agents 2) make travel bookmarks for the routes you tend to fly 3) try working from a base that lets you accept several missions at a time. I find that my standing per agent goes up slowly that way, corporate standings go up faster. YMMV
