Butter, curious were you logged on last night? When we had 60 in vfk and local was 175 for like 3-4 hours before they finally came and fought. And before they fought we shot a carrier dead while 150 looked on behind a pos.
interested in the goings on in their camp, when they have us nearly 3-1... + capital advantage.

I believe his issue comes from when an NC member did this article about his posting habits. Perhaps it was due to him being denied this product as a child. No one really knows, but its obvious he'll make some therapist very rich.

As far as I'm aware Insurgency had a fairly descent relationship with the north
Then the Insurgency leadership (was it darth ?) decided to go on the offensive, tried his hand at diplo warfare and it all collapsed and imploded.
Then Insurgency got majorly attacked, TRI joined on their side, but perhaps not 100% (no smack, just a perspective) and it didn't go well, resuliting in Insurgency retreating and finally disbanding, but not before one of their leaders stole all their stuff.
It almost sounds like it was all planned tbfh
and Insurgency pilots should be more ****d at their old leadership than any one else, if your leadership had taken a leaf from old TRI and not attacked sov, then you could have stayed as you were, with plenty local pew pew, roaming gangs etc... all good fun
But your leader let you down and stole all your stuff, refocus your angst guys n gals

lets at least be honest...insurg got removed from their space because they took some valuable moons, plus they demanded an NC moon in their own space...Tri disbanded because basically there was an idea that some corps had more moons than they deserved, add in a giant share of ego, and the alliance fell apart...in both cases it was about moons and isk...

I'm not sure if your post is a troll or genuine question, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and treat it as the latter.
Firstly, I didn't particularly smacktalk the NC. If you eve-search my forum posts around that time, you will see that. I smacked them afterwards though when they started gloating on CAOD about kicking us out, because in my view (and it's a view I still hold) they lost so much to achieve so little, it was a remarkably hollow victory.
If I were them, I'd be positively embarressed about the forces they had to array, and how much they lost, to remove one alliance with only moderate resources at their disposal.
We always knew the NC could remove us if they wanted to, with sheer weight of numbers. And they did. So what?
Also my corp quitting had nothing to do with NC, we left because Darth stepped down as leader, and he was the glue which held a lot of egotistical characters in check.
Anyway, I've said all this before and I've been 100% consistent in what I say.

It's an ego thing - BD was, as noted one of the most vocal in local during insurgency events - everybody *had* to know *he* was there *all* the time.
Obviously subsequent events lead to a fairly hard blow to poor BD's ego, so he has retreated from the battlefield to the forums where he feels he cannot possibly take further loss.
Here he is able to rationalise away all the rejection, ignore what everyone else says and cocoon his ego by directing all his hurt at the NC instead of looking a little more introspectively at what went wrong, selecting 'stiff upper lip mode' and getting on with it.
My advice to him would be to NPC up some isk, buy a fleet BS, join a GBC corp and get his arse up to the battlefield - once he gets a couple of NC killmails under his belt I'm sure he'll feel much better about it all.

You're just talking crap I'm afraid. I think I chatted in local with this character twice in the whole campaign.
Most of the time I was in my cap alt.

There are only five Sov 4 NC systems.
One RZR, one PURE, one HYRDA, two MM.
Hydra are about to lose theirs, leaving four. Now, put that into context. Is it really going to take GBC and possibly TRI that long to chew through them?
PS I'm not counting anything in the drone regions which may or may not exist :)

I read CAOD during work, when it gets awfully boring. This has led me to seeing Butter Dog in action on the forum.
After reading his posts, I had a deja-vu experience. I have met such anti-social behavior in extremely spoiled children. Do not worry much about his "cap alt" or "gbc alt" because I'm convinced that's just the bitter "I'm not playing with you anymore, I'm taking my toys and I'm going home" attitude.
Please set age limit to 20+ in these forums. BD, I hope you grow your own pair, so you could stop borrowing.

I think BD is contributing more to the GBC cause then most of MM are atm to the NC. I see a maximum of 10 odd per evening in VFK. Hope you're all enjoying NPCing while your allies are loosing their space. Your time will come. |

You know, what I find amusing is that I lay out fairly logical arguements based in fact, and avoid personal attacks against members of the NC. Sure, you don't like what I say, but that doesn't make my posts 'trolling' and indeed I've never recieved a forum warning for such.
Then you ignore all my fairly well reasoned discussion about NC tactics etc, and what may or may not happen, and resort to personal attacks in my direction. Such as your previous post.
What makes me really laugh, is you then accuse me of being the immature one.
Seriously, engage on an equal level or I'm going to have to assume you don't have a counter to my points. I don't expect you to 'like' what I say, I'm anti-NC after all, but you're just talking crap about me 'not having a GBC alt', or 'not having a cap alt'.
Well, in that case I guess I won't know about the big GBC op later today, which I'll be participating in with a battleship. On the subject of my cap alt, everyone who has flown with me knows I have one and always use it.
You see, I can easily disprove what you say as trolling and false assumptions. Try doing the same in reverse, if you can.
