Regarding the killboard comparisons, API keys and killmail generation have been totally screwed up all round lately and everyone's given up manually posting now that it should be automatic. RAWR killboard is for sure missing some losses. It's also missing some kills. TRI killboard is for sure missing losses. And some kills (at least those where Exceed got final blow but probably some with TRI fb too). It's probably the same for many alliances atm.
We prolly need more cross-syncing again, but some idiot always posts a fake Nyx kill and it floats around the northern killboards unpurgeable for months popping up again everytime it's deleted from some board. Plus lately some kills aren't generating mails for anyone on either side anyway.
So stop with the killboard comparisons for now, please. Y'all have to figure out another way to decide who won  |

Very well, lets look at the objectives achieved then as a measurement of success. The NC forces got into C-FP with their caps and were able to knock one(?*) of our Large posses into reinforced mode.
Initially the caps cynoed into a belt, TRI and friends numbering 150 moved from T-ZW and caught a portion of the caps still in the belt. First target were a Nyx, but the bubbles failed with the nyx in 50% armor. Other carriers were called and a few went down. Meanwhile NC conventionals tickled in and mixxed up in the belt with the TRI fleet. Finally, the TRI fleet were forced to leave the belt, having been unable to take down the last 5 caps.
The TRI fleet retreated to the POS the NC caps were attacking. As the pos went into reinforced, the lag subsided, with 300 in system lag was now only 3-5 secs. Some skirmishing happened untill the TRI fleet was caught and dispatched.
So all in all I personally will concede victory to the NC forces based on objectives; TRI did not kill a significant number of NC caps, the tower was reinforced and NC forces held the field in the end.
*I was killed when I warped to a bad bm and dragged into a hictor bubble by one of the gates so I am unsure welther NC caps cynoed back in later in the night. |

I've seen some pretty horrible lag over time during my time in the NC fighting BoB and co (Y-2 and BKG come to mind),
but yesterday was by far the worst ever with only 200 in local at the start.
Still managed to shoot stuff though after 15 minutes of loading.
The remaining 160 or so hostiles that jumped in and landed on top of us I never saw,
and I was able to remain shooting the carriers till we got the call to get out.
It's hilarious though what the NC managed to achieve with like 500+ players.
They should put them to good use against BoB, and let alliances like Hydra that aren't able to hold space(or even a gate) die off. |

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it too much as BoB have forced the issue now by assaulting I30. NC have issued a recall to VFK which takes some of the blob off you.
But apparently Pure are staying to fight you. But that should be good fun I'd imagine.

Pure and Hydra would be good fun :) Pure and us got about the same amount of caps from what I saw yesterday.

only cause it took 50 mins to get the "quit game" option due to the lag.
it was a good fight NC but next time try to fight with equal numbers. 500 vs 130 makes the lag unbearable.
next time do 250 vs 130. at least we can live with that lag |

If they have got the numbers availably, they will always always use them. Game breaking negates lack of skill and decent FC's. Thats the NC, we all know that

Since you are such a key thinker for the NC, care to comment on what other NC allies think of Iron and Iron FC's since things began to heat up in Dek?? Strange how former RA corps and members are shooting Iron now, its almost like they were disgusted with the Iron FC's inability to offer timely aid after a successful DD of a Max fleet...We have well known Razor and MM pvpers suddenly not in VFK...What could the reason be?? Since you are clearly a person with much knowledge of the NC help to enlighten the CAOD audience with the why's...

It doesn't really matter if you didn't 'say anything about defending one system'... that is what NC are doing, it's just a fact.
The GBC reinforced 15 towers in I30 yesterday, a key IRON station system one jump from VFK. The thing is, sitting there saying 'we don't want those stations anyway' does not make that arguement credible. You don't POS spam systems you 'don't want' or that 'aren't important'. It's a weak arguement. It does not ring true.
There really is no need to speculate on NC strategy. We're seeing it in action, and it is that action, those facts, that I am critising. Of course, I am biased, aren't we all, but that doesn't make what I say any less true.

IMO - and this is only MY opinion and not my corps. MM/RZR shouldnt really be defending VFK, whats the point? They have a strong sov 4 powerblock in tribute... wasting forces in space that was only recently taken will serve only to weaken the NC, although i do belive they need a good bleeding, having hydra removed and maybe a few other weak allies, stella polaris and Niomi Wildfires bunch, aka the ones they hang out to dry every time, will strengthen MM / RZR in the long run.
