I am soooooo glad m0o have not gone up there. We, or at least I would be bored out my mind by now with all the talking and forum posting. Do you people actually log into the game? That move the NSN guy posted must be the only action ever seen, now you are...what...disscussing it?
I have tried to follow the disscussions, cause I have a keen interest in wars and blowing sh!t up, but it seems you guys even spend more time talking about how you should all stop talking and spend more time fighting it out, than you do talking about the war, nevermind time spent in a ship shooting your guns!!

So let me get this straight...
Just because a small number of people from each side are excessivly posting on the forums, that means no one from either side are fighting? Yeah, awesome logic there. We all dock at stations whilst our leaders/pr reps type out their post then undock when they are done.

Seeing as PA recently stated their numbers at around 700+ members, I don't think its that many people tbh.

So you make yet another friggin post about the war, moaning about all the other posts.
Wouldnt it have been a good idea, if you were that bothered about it to simply ignore it all and not post like the majority are, theres just ya usual forum w***es giving their side of the story, as with any war so far in eve.
Its nothing new.

I think the point here was the quantity of posts and the general theme of the posts.... there have been some very poor attitudes floating around the boards and it has been present from EVERY corp and alliance....

Well I have certainly admitted publicly and privately that I got well and truly baited by the PA PR gang yesterday Val Duane and it cost me an evening of gaming. I came home wanting to shoot enemies and ended up ranting with irritating people. There is a cautionary tale there I think. That said, there are boring moments in the war where typing on the forums helps to break the monotony. I was trapped for about 24 hours in that system where PA outblobbed us at the weekend and since I didn't fancy suiciding my wounded Raven past 50-70 angry PA what else was there beyond watching my ship slowly burn? ')
I would say don't take these forums as gospel though Val Duane. There is a lot of fighting going on and this is a big war with many battlefronts. PA lost many ships yesterday in small actions round the clock and small scale attrition is where the coalition is strong. PA like their lag-blobs but once the fighting is smaller and more localised they begin the suffer badly.
And as for the variety of kiling going on well, I am (I-think) pretty much counted the worst forum ***** in the coalition (with one or two exceptions perhaps) and since the weekend my kill total is 9-2 in my favour. Thats more kills than I scored in the whole of the NVA/FE war in a matter of days. (and if we accept the 600 hundred member total for the PA and the speculative 60 ship kills they claim) makes me about 90 times more effective than the average PA pilot thus far ;)
This campaign is big Val Duane, and its bad and ugly and hardcore. And many many ships will die.

But yep, hunting the PA is top fun because there are so damned many of them, its easier to find PA than Gurrista Battleship spawns thats for certain.

Yeah just go fight! If one more retard with a NAP comes on our TS and says "some people" think that since your alliance is for X space you don't belong in Y space I'm gonna take it personal. All smack talk and suggestions from losers who can't control their own stations and complain hours after we run the rats out of "Their Space" need to conduct drama and bullcr4p in local. If it ain't in local it don't mean a heap of sh1t. The real reason certain corps don't like to engage in large wars is because they talk so much their members get called first.

Smack aside, I LOVE watching my ship burn. First cuz if I can see it for more than a few seconds, I prolly got out alive(ie. I'm someplace safe enough to watch something other than my HUD and scanner), and second cuz I think it's one of the coolest graphics in the game. Granted the physics of it sucks, but it's DARNED pretty.

I have to say I am truly impressed at how big the PA actually has grown. Say whatever you want about them but they sure can recruit. I think there is enough cannon fodder in space for this war to last months Panzer. And frankly, I think thats a good thing, a regional conflict of this scale has been needed in the north for six months now just to clear bad blood and old feuds and lets face it, once people have supped at the chalice of space combat its just more exciting when there is a war on.

As for regional conflict i agree jade. Too bad fu and cod wont be in it much longer. I hope they thank you for getting them involved in the war. Norad is next, and then unicorn. I've not seen any rkk or jericho ships so i cant comment on where they're contributing to the fighting. But i suppose sneaking past enemy lines to take out a worthless clone station has to count for something eh?
If you want to fight jade, come to venal and stop posting that you will. Just do it. I would also send out some support to cod, they're getting hit hard.

It does. I was just about to check a screenie that was posted (of the medical station two Jericho pilots captured from RONA, think it was in Tenal, it was of course retaken later) when our forums was nuked. I feel so deprived!
So yeah, whoever or whatever's doing that **** (I haven't seen logs myself yet, so I'm suspending judgement for a while), take heed of Riddari's words.

In any case, my response was pretty low on the flame metre, gave some valuabe info and extended an existing offer .

I'd like to believe it's slashdot. But in all honesty it's not slashdot. There aren't enough forum w***es in EVE that really care about the "war" and JF forums to actually cause a slashdot effect. If by some odd chance it was slashdot then congestion wouldn't last for numerous hours as connection attempts would drop dramatically after the first few hours (in this case probably minutes) after initial congestion.
