Got a little problem with eve right now that im praying someone with more exp in computers than me can help ^^
Upgraded from XP to Vista today, everything patches to latest drivers, running 32bit o/s on a Intel P4 3.40ghz, 2gb ram, using a Nvidia 7600 GS (Yup i know crap kit ^^)
Eve installed perfect no problems running the game, problem im getting is on login/ingame these weird spiky gfx, gfx missing, or just pure random gfx.
Updated DirX Updated Vid Driver to 175.19
Nothing seems to be wrong with the pc itself just on eve i get these buggy gfx, if anyone knows how to help and solve this case of just pure random that would be amazing!

Spiky (spikey?) graphics to my knowledge (personal experience) may indicate faulty or overheating graphics card.

Definately looks like the graphics card overheating, I had two Nvidia 7900gt do this on me.

Agreed, had the same error with a Radeon X1900 with badly fitted cooler (my own fault). |

Well after many hours of sitting thinking how to make this work, i checked out if the card itself was overheating, it wasnt, stuck a industrial cooler beside my pc and its like the northpole in there now. Dragged my ass to a m8s house and shoved the gfx card into winxp client and boom it works, so basicly ended up finding out this card personaly hates Vista, anoying part is cant find my xp cd lol.
Guess theres no way to sort this until, Nvidia comes up with a new (working) driver for this card that works with vista!
Or i just fork out on a new card! time to hit the shops :D
Cheers for the help!
