That's terrible news she seemed like a really good person. I knew her since mmorpg.com and that's how I found about EVE it was on that site. She will be missed. We really liked you Laura you were a true, true professional.
My condolences go out to your friends and family. But know that your virtual family will miss you as well

As I posted on MMORPG.com;
No way. I can't believe it. And to think that no more than a week ago, I was looking for her e-mail adress to send her a 'congrats' with the new job, seeing as I'm an active EVE player as well and she was my boss whilst I worked as a moderator here at MMORPG.com.
What horrible news. You will be missed, you were one of the best community managers I have ever had the pleasure of both working for and being a member of the community of. This deeply saddens me. I loved her personal touch in every post she made and every PM she sent.
My condolences to her friends and family.

I only knew her for a little time since she joined CCP and she seemed like a great person, we will miss you rest in peace :(

I read this with great sadness. I fenced with Laura for several years over on MMORPG.com over moderations that I had received and she always treated my fairly and dealt with my complaints in a professional manner.
I was sad to see her leave, and glad to see her come to CCP.
I will mourn her passing today.

Really really sorry to hear that. I didn't know Laura very well but she was very helpful and friendly in the couple of emails we exchanged and I could see she'd be a very positive influence on Eve community relations going forward. This is a terrible shock and my thoughts and commiserations are with her friends and family and work mates in this difficult time.
